What I did was go back and look at the record of the Cowboys from 1990 to 1999 when the Triplets were completely together and compiled the wins and losses for each Triplet based upon their absence.

To me, it looks like it's Emmitt. We had a 20% chance to win with him out compared to Irvin's 35% and Aikman's 65%:

Irvin -- 9-17

Aikman -- 11-6

Emmitt -- 1-4

I know they're each valued and treasured and part of the fabric of this franchise's great past. But I'm just throwing some numbers out there. What do you guys think about this?

Makes sense to me. Emmett brought a lot to the game with each touch. Michael only touched the ball maybe ten times a game, and Aikman either passed or handed off the football.

Too bad the Cowboys don't have a dominant runner now. They might have a chance to stay close.

Remember when ES was holding out? I remember that one clip of that player that was really upset and yelling that they couldn't win without ES and was kinda bashing the RB that wa filling in....can't remember his name. Kinda felt bad for that RB at the time due to what he was saying.

JJ paid him that week and ES was back on the field and we went on to win the SB if I remember correctly.

Behind that Oline?

Walter Payton & Jim Brown would struggle behind them.

That is correct. We lost the first two games of the 1993 season and Charles Haley threw a helmet into the locker room wall and said that we needed Emmitt because we couldn't win with a rookie runningback, who happened to be Derrick Lassic.

There you go....Lassic. I was thinking it was Haley....just wasn't sure.
