Isn't it very ironic that the UK says that they are pulling out of Europe claiming it could be more democratic, yet Brexit itself had to be approved by an unelected House of Lords and unelected monarch? And their parliament - the only elected part isn't elected on representative basis?

What is interesting here is that once again Scotland is rearing its head to propose leaving Britain...again. They did this two (or three...? I forgets) years ago and it was voted down. But since a majority of Scots favored staying in the EU in the Brexit vote, it once again is being used to possibly see Scotland cede from the UK.

What's the +/- for illegals that voted?
Lol
If any those votes would have boosted the losing side without a doubt.
Open borders and all.

Of course, now the 2nd highest per capita rape rate is in the entire world is in, of all places, Sweden.
Thanks to those open borders.

Btw, I'm a bit surprised this thread is still open.

Scottish parliament voted in favour of holding a second independence referendum yesterday. UK government have confirmed they will refuse to give legal authority as Scotland deserves to see what Brexit entails first. Might have been a useful thing for Britain to know before being asked to vote on Brexit

The people voted for it and the government made right on the vote. The irony of this thread is that it was the undemocrsyic EU system that led to the need to leave, in the eyes of the U.K. Citizen.
