Addicts don't really need a reason. Everything's a reason. He has a bad game, he's at risk with those lows. He has a good game, he's at risk with those highs. He keeps busy, he's at risk from the stress. He has a light work schedule, he's at risk from that boredom.
I hope he's gotten into some kind of program (to figure out how to dissect his problem and put the tools in his toolbox to enable him to work on it) and made up his mind to put all that behind him. I mean, with him almost throwing away a lucrative career and jeopardizing his ability to provide for his family, maybe he hit his bottom and finally turned a corner. But, realistically, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's busted and suspended again before Irving returns from his suspension in October.
Maybe. But he's playing tomorrow. They probably aren't going to be able to suspend him in the next 12 hours so we should be good to go.
