Do you guys read Wizard. I love that magazine. It's addictive.
I really like how they cast an strong and edgy type of actor to play Joker. Heath Ledger could arguably play Batman. I'm just glad they didn't settle and cast a comedian as Joker like Robin Williams or Jim Carrey. I'm also glad they didn't cast Johnny Depp. It seems like if any weird role arises, they assign Johnny Depp to it. I think Depp is the most overrated actor in Hollywood. He is not natural at all. Depp performs in an over-the-top fashion. With Depp, you can tell he thinks he is a great actor when he adds these cheesy motifs thinking that's what comprises a good actor. A great actor in my opinion is someone like Christian Bale who loses himself in the character and allows you to believe he is the character without being over-the-top and obvious in letting you know so.
With Ledger as Joker, you have another talented and highly devoted actor who will lose themselves in the character and make them believable.
