And it finally hit me who Randle reminds me of, he reminds me of James Starks a bit. There was a point when Green Bay thought he could be their starter after his 2010 playoff performance, but they quickly realized he was also a change of pace back.

I would say Randle has a little more burst to him, but we need to stop screwing around and trying to take him out of the role he's best fit for. Randle is an RB who should only be getting about 75-90 carries a year, nothing more.

I can see why, gotta feel bad for Rande, with the way the line blocked vs NYG, Randle wouldve had a huge game too. just unlucky

He's hardly unlucky. Randle looks gassed every time he has a lengthy run, and those "lengthy runs" are often just 10-15 yards. McFadden would have had to come in during the late second or after the half to finish off the game because Randle simply just can't handle the workload.

The only reason the Cowboys are putting up with his antics is because they are thin at the RB position. I doubt he is still on this team next season

Dallas Bryant crawls onto Randle's shoulder, gives him an a hug, and tries to console him. At that moment, Randle resolves to call up fellow OSU alum Weeden to propose a southwest road trip of self-discovery and renewal in their very own version of Thelma and Louise.

Camera breaks away to Randle waking up in an empty classroom after having fallen asleep. The faint sound of metal scraping against the walls is the only sound piercing the silence. Suddenly Randle realizes the figure coming down the hall isn't his General Manager after all.

Closeup on Randles eyes widening as GM Jerry Krueger enters the room:

Sources: Cowboys RB Joseph Randle bolts Valley Ranch after demotion, is expected to return Thursday

Joseph Randle, upset with his demotion from the starting lineup, abruptly left the Cowboys practice facility Wednesday afternoon but is expected to return Thursday to meet with the coaching staff, sources said.

Those same sources said the third-year running back has worked through his disappointment over being replaced by Darren McFadden and is ready to accept the decision and move forward.

Randle didn't practice Wednesday due to a strained oblique. He walked out of the locker room in shoulder pads while carrying his helmet 20 minutes into the practice session and began to work on the side with an athletic trainer.

Afterwards, when Randle was scheduled for treatment, he couldn't be found. Club officials scrambled to determine where he had gone.

Anyone else think we draft a RB in the 2nd, or first if it's a rare talent?

I think the coaches are making that semi-important priority. Hell, Garrett needs a good RB to make him look good.
