You have to get in Brees face and bat down some of his passes or at least get your hands up because he is only 5'10.

Sweet mother of God, you have solved it!

Now with your inside knowledge to his physical characteristics and your excellent strategy formulation we can finally be the team that puts a stop to Drew Brees.

Getting pressure on any QB is a good game plan, especially so this week with a struggling Saints O Line. Rob will probably refuse to blitz as usual though.

I hope he blitzes wisely that's always the key when playing a QB like Brees.

There's no way to stop a quarterback like Drew Brees. You hope either he has a bad day or the players around him have a bad day.

However, we're in luck because we can say the same thing about Tony Romo.

This might work best.

I wish everyone or almost everyone would stop overhyping Brees and the Saints. This isn't 2009 or even last year's Saints. They are very inconsistent and pretty bad on the road. Their offense isn't nearly as good as I've seen a lot of people on this board make it out to be. I'm seeing people post them with scores in the high 30's and 40's. Their offense isn't that potent especially against quality opponents. They are 1-6 against teams currently over .500 and that 1 win was at home against Atlanta. No road wins against teams over .500 and yet we're supposed to fear the Saints and Brees.

Limit offensive snaps and possessions
Get pressure and some sacks
limit coverage mistakes
stop their vertical game which is the best in the business
use voodo and the root on him

demarcus ware needs to play better than he has the last few weeks.

LOL :laugh2:

You need to take away the big play and hold them to FG. Between the 20's you have to play soft or you'll be giving up big plays. Shorten the field and all that good stuff. Dare them to run the ball and take the ball out of his hands.

Tackle tackle tackle and MOAR TACKLING!!!

If we can force the Saints into some FG then we have a shot to hold them around 20 points especially if we can run the ball 20 times on offense.
