The last anybody heard from Dallas wide receiver Terrell Owens, he was offering Cowboys owner Jerry Jones his services as a consultant.

''If Jerry needs any advice or asks me about anything, I will give him my honest opinion,'' Owens said Sunday, shortly after the Cowboys' season ended with that 44-6 loss to Owens' former team, the Eagles.
It didn't take Owens long to offer his thoughts on the Cowboys' head coach-in-waiting, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett: ''I definitely know there needs to be some changes in regard to getting some guys involved and putting guys in position to win. It all starts with the guy who's calling the plays.''
At one point, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo waved off the punt team and coach Wade Phillips, and called a quarterback sneak for a first down.
Yes, they have quite a mess in Big D.
And that mess suddenly stands in contrast to the situation in South Philly, where the Eagles are headed for the NFC Playoffs. All is well -- and anything that may have been otherwise is forgotten.
''I'm not going to comment on what they went through on their sideline,'' Eagles coach Andy Reid said Monday when asked about the contrast between the imploding Cowboys and playoff-bound Eagles.
''But, obviously, this season there have been chances where guys could have taken a negative approach to things and started getting after each other or after coaches and so on, and that hasn't happened,'' Reid added. ''And I think that is directly related to the guys that we do have in the locker room. To answer the question, I think it's very important that you bring in guys that are good people.''
Earlier, Reid pointed to two of his defensive ends, Darren Howard and Chris Clemons, as examples of players who are good for team chemistry.
Howard went from full-time starter in 2006 to role player in 2007 and 2008. After getting one sack last season, he had 10 this season, including one Sunday.
Howard is ''a unique character because a lot of guys with his ability and so on would complain about being a role player,'' Reid said.
Clemons had a career-high eight sacks last season in Oakland, but admitted Sunday to reporting out of shape for his first season as an Eagle. He had two sacks and took a fumble recovery 73 yards for a touchdown against the Cowboys after getting two sacks in the Eagles' first 15 games.
''We're just kind of getting to know Clemons,'' Reid said. ''We found a spot for him in that joker [stand-up defensive end] position. He's never flinched, he's never said a negative word when he wasn't playing.''
