Has anyone else here played it yet? If so what is your stance on the ending?

Only a few hours in. Clickers and no shivs is fun.

Also only a few hours in...it is every bit as fantastic as all the reviews have said, so far.

When I got to the state capitol building, I caught myself looking at pictures of Boston's actual building and surrounding area and amazed at how true to life it actually is. I get a kick out of things like that.

Beat it a couple days ago, absolutely amazing game start to finish. Playing on Hard was a struggle, but it was worth it. The multiplayer is pretty cool too.

Does it have replay value?

Got the game yesterday. So far it is good but SO SLOW. I appreciate games like this because it takes a lot to make them this good. Honestly I'm a little disappointed but it is still a good game. Plus I'm probably only 15% completed so that is just a so-far review.

I own this game and it's fantastic. The multiplayer has a lot of replay value and it is a team focused game with no quick scoping and such. The campaign was full of adventure and surprises. The ending makes you think, and my take is that the ending was perfect for how Joel would handle things with the world in the condition it was in and his life as it was.

I would say it does if you're a person that likes a challenge after you beat it, plus the multiplayer is surprisingly pretty good.
Thanks. This will probably be my next game I guy. I don't buy too many games so replay value means a lot to me.

So far it is picking up. The story is very detailed and I like it. You really feel for the characters.

Spoiler alert.
You think others have been found like Ellie? I think Joel was thinking that when he made his decision not to tell her the truth. Would you have told her what really happend?

TLOU is definitely in the discussion for GOY, IMO. 9.5 out of 10.

I'm about 25% of the way in and it's been enjoyable, but I'm not sure on the 10/10 reviews as of yet.

It's also one of the few games in a long while that has made me physically nauseous playing it. Ugh. I guess I'll be popping some motion sickness tablets before my next go-around.

I finished the game today. I think the Last of Us has the best story out of any game out. It was interesting and the characters were really believable. I can see why it is getting 10/10 reviews. For me I would give it a 9.5/10. It's definitely one of the best games I have played, but I wouldn't call it the best. Bioshock Infinite was more fun to play, but The Last of Us had a better story. Awesome game though! Lived up to the hype!

@Heisenberg the game definitely picks up along the way. I do think that it was a little slow in the beginning but it picks up.

SPOILER ALERT
@Afigueroa22 It ended that Ellie was the only girl who was immune. Joel lied to her and she knew the truth. Humanity doesn't have a cure now. He didn't want to lose Ellie because of Sara (his daughter). He considered Ellie to be his daughter and he couldn't lose her for a second time. He basically put himself first before humanity. I wouldn't have told her the truth because if she heard it from him than she might have wanted to die to be with her friends that went before her. Excellent story though. I can see both sides for an argument for a sequel. If there is one, Ellie would be the main character now. If there wont be one the story is still clear and doesn't need to go on. But if it does it will be on PS4 (which will be AWESOME). Single-Player DLC will be interesting. It might be the stories of all the sub-characters such as Sam, Marlene or Joel's brother.

i'm a couple hours in. somewhat slow to start with but i'm sure it will pick up.
