My guess is to quick snap to Dak and him get it out to blocked skill players with Zeke center to put one more skill player on the field for the pitch game

Not hung up on the play. Just trying to figure out if Kellen was high when he designed this pointless.

Does any team have a play for fourth and goal from their own 20? The game ended on the play before when the receiver couldn't get his feet down. At least then they would have been in heave territory.

I thought the concept was interesting...

You put a few linemen out wide to set up blocking almost like a kick return and you put a few speedy skill guys behind them with another running back on the field to run and lateral.

However, the players looked to have given up and the play ended quickly.

Throw a Hail Mary and hope for an interference call. That last play was flat out pathetic. At least you throw a deep ball and if it don’t work, you walk off. Not get laughed off the field just like last year!

The last play was typical Cowboys offense. You need to go 76 yards with a last chance hail Mary and what does Dallas do? An 8 yard pass down the middle of the field with an immediate tackle.

I said it many times last season and it still needs to be said now - this might be the dumbest team in the NFL, and being lead by the dumbest GM/owner.

My guess is Zeke was meant to snap, then bump and run. Turpin I think was always the target but he was meant to receive it on the move. He then has WR's and Zeke advancing up the field to block, or as options to recieve the lateral with the linemen blocking holes. The reality was Zeke just got trucked so badly that Dak faced instant pressure and couldn't get a good throw to Turpin. He was left flat-footed and got wrecked as he caught it. To me, once it was shown before the time out, they should have switched it up with Turpin as a running back.

It’s a John Fassel play. I’d bet on it. Similar to the nonsense they ran in Tampa week 1 of 2021.

Not sure what they were trying to accomplish, or if they were even trying at that point, but I would trash it just out of the amount of scorn and ridicule I’ve seen since they attempted it.
