...we were supposed to blow them out, but we know how that ended up. We were on the road in blue, Romo was hurt and Roy was playing his first game as a Cowboy, but we still expected to blow them out. Hopefully this game, at home, after two heartbreakers, will go a lot smoother. I still believe.

I agree for the most part, but we definitely weren't supposed to blow them out. With Brad Johnson at the helm, we would have had trouble blowing out college teams.

If we don't blow out the 0-5 Rams, I'll pretty much be calling for us to hire an offensive coordinator.

You're assuming offense would be the reason. You're probably right.

To be honest, I didn't know that BJ was that bad until that game. I knew he was no world beater, but yikes, his arm was gone.

I was at that game. It sucked. The Rams fans I tailgated with were pretty cool though.

Saw a 'boys fan almost get in a fight towards the end of the game. He was there with I think his wife and very young daughter (they were sitting there next to him so I assuming). There was a Rams fan walking a few rows in front of him, celebrating, holding up a shirt. I believe it was one of the "Romo Sucks, Jessica Swallows" shirts they were peddling outsde the stadium. He stormed over to him, grab the shirt from him and threw it towards the field. A little scuffle broke out, then was seperated.

My my my, we've come a long way from the Jessica days.

I don't think we lose to the rams, but I don't think we blow them out either. Rams will play like it's their super bowl and try to put a dagger in our season.

I was at that game too. What a miserable experience sitting there watching a horrible team outplay us. I didn't see any fights though, and St. Louis sports fans are generally pretty cool. Enthusiastic about baseball, blase about the Rams.

Still, that was one long walk out of the stadium and drive out of the lot for a guy wearing a Cowboys cap.

And if you are looking for uninspired Cowboys performances against the Rams, don't forget the closing game of the season against them in 2005. We were out of the playoffs at gametime, as I recall, and I sat there disgusted in Texas Stadium watching one of the most listless, embarrassing nonefforts I've ever seen from the team.

I'm hoping for much, much better this week. Otherwise the life of a Cowboys fan in Missouri will be horrible. And if the Cardinals beat the Rangers in the World Series I may have to move.

I don't think anyone could have known he would be that awful. Wow, I still tremble at night sometimes thinking about having him as the starting QB again for even one snap.

You would be late to the party. That wagon is already on the move! :laugh2:

It would be. You've seen this defense -- held the vaunted New England Patriots, unstoppable, greatest offense of all time to 13 points through 3-9/10ths quarters. If our offense does what the hell they're supposed to do against the worst defense in the NFL, Brady doesn't even get that chance at the end of the game and we're taking knees and going home with ESPN predicting us to the Super Bowl.
