Will go back tonight, I think the guy that bought my tickets will be working tonight. Hope so, I want to hear what he has to say. I'll be leaving Friday, so may not see any of the decent Texans fans here. There are a few.
Wasn't for sure I was going to get to the game, he's a Texans fan, the bartender at a sportsbar. He bought my tickets. did him a favor in a way. Face value, as i'm sure I could have sold them for much more.

Glad i did though, as I would have came home for the game, then turn around and come home again this weekend. Though i'll be home for a few months now. LOL

I don't mean to insult but I just don't understand how anyone could see with investing in a offensive line and being 4-1 that it was the best move for this organization. Can you imagine having Romo with a bad back and a bad offensive line? But at least we'd have Watt on that defensive lien wrecking havoc......actually now that I think about it.....we'd probably be the Houston Texans lol. Except without the hope of Clowney.

Oh i'm giving Watt credit. I'm not going to knock Tyron because he had a GREAT jump. That wasn't just timing. Half a second later and he's off sides. I'm giving credit to Watt. And Watt wasn't the only one. Another linebacker got a great jump in that game that I thought would end up in a sack but Romo got it out in time.

We definitely do. JJ Watt is such a Jerry pick though...I think if we could re-do that draft knowing everything I bet he would go with the more high profile guy in Watt. Then we'd have a maybe good defense and a terrible offense. But what good is it to have a good defense when your offense is terrible?

That's why I say the offensive line help sloth sides of the ball out. You can run and keep your defense off the field and don't get them overexposed and keep them fresh with a solid offensive line.

Did you see how tired Watt looked yesterday? He rarely takes plays off. And maybe it was a injury or a nagging injury but that's what a good OL does.
 
JJ was hurt. I'm not sure what is wrong but something is. I haven't read much from the Texans perspective but he said he was disappointed he missed on the sac& & Tony made a great play. Which he did. That was a great play by Tony.

Oddly enough, the only reason JJ was able to get to him is because Romo drifted back 5 yards after being in shotgun. Not sure why Romo drifted back that far -- there was a blitz up the middle, but it was stonewalled. I'm not faulting him or anything, it's just that it created an odd opportunity for Watt to get to him. If he'd stayed in the pocket, or stepped up rather than back, Watt wouldn't have touched him.
 
We had the best D player in the game for quite a while and what did it get us?

And from what I saw Watt didn't beat Tyron. He predicted the snap count and was successful. You can't block that. Ware use to do it all the time.

Watt looked like he aggravated his strained quad early in the Cowboys game (coming off the field every few series) but not sure when he injured that elbow. Or maybe he just prefers wearing the elbow brace.

He's had elbow surgery. I'm pretty sure he broke that elbow & wears the brace for that reason.

He doesn't wear it except when he plays.

They need him Thursday. The Colts are pretty good!

Leary is a real thumper. He's like a boxer who works the body. As the game gets to the 4th quarter, he's sapped their strength
