As I noted a few posts back, some players suck the life out of those around them while others uplift. You tell me which type Felicia was.

No matter how incremental it seems, this is addition by subtraction. This personality is gone. It was not good for the team. It wasn't good for the locker room. So yes. I claim a major incremental win today. Now let's get back to work on prepping to beat the Eagles.

Good reply and I agree they should have cut him after he took the fruit off the loom...just don't feel the win but i will be cheering!

Why? Is Christine Michael still out celebrating his team's win last week with Irvin, et al, too?

Somebody start singing that song ROCK BOTTOM !!!!!!!

MAN!! I have a terrible attitude about this team and it just gets worse each week. Not used to feeling this way so early in the season and I'm just so disappointed in what has transpired since game 1. What I get for raising my expectations too high but this is just a nightmare story which lacks any positive outcome so far. Odds are something positive has to happen to this team.

Mathematically, we have a good chance and the lower room was just put on notice. Do you not believe they come out fighting?

I still think they have a chance to make the playoffs. I've thought very thoroughly on all the scenarios and posted about it quite a bit. My comment was more about the fact that there have been new "We're gonna win the next one" or "We're gonna go X-0 until Romo gets back" threads posted every week since the Eagles game.

Well we gotta win sooner or later and someone has to finally be right after numerous threads say book it and guarantee a win.

Right?

Right?

Bueller...Bueller?

We will win this week...book it!

We will lose this week, book it!

I thought about covering my bases and creating posts that said We will win a close one, we will lose a close one, we will win in a blowout, and we will lose in a blowout..nah

Can we now agree we totally botched the RB position?
Losing confidence in McLay.

I don't think so.

Dunbar was incredibly productive. According to most posters here, we should have cut him.

Murray has averaged 3.5 yards per carry and has had the worst start in history for a RB that won the rushing title the season before. Did we really screw up by not paying him what the Eagles offered?

Especially since McFadden has 2 less carries than Murray and is averaging 4.0 yards per carry and is doing it at basically a pay for play contract.

What was screwed up was that the coaching staff couldn't figure out how to preserve DeMarco. 436 carries in a season and the history for RB's coming off a season like that is horrendous. And we are seeing it right now. We also didn't draft a RB and it's apparent that outside of Todd Gurley (who was long gone), none of these rookie tailbacks are anything to write home about.

I think the FO did the best with what they had. If the coaching staff could actually manage the talent, we probably would not have been in this mess and we would have been able to keep DeMarco without the worry of him falling off the face of the earth in terms of production.

I agree cutting Joseph randle was the correct decision and prolly should of happened a while ago. I disagree with the notion he was a "cancer" however, he just doesn't produce enough to justify some his decisions on and off the field, no more no less. I don't believe we botched the rb position at all because similar to what YR said, we did have production with Dunbar and to an extent McFadden while there was really no better opportunity to upgrade the position in the draft realistically (which was justified by the poster who showed the comparisons of the rookie running backs this year.) Chris Johnson might have been an answer but hindsight is 22Michael is not the answer and granted he hasn't carried the ball much it's pretty clear why he's in the position he is in. Also passing on Murray is and will always be correct and if you don't get that, it's fine but you're wrong.

You can't address everything in the Draft.
The priority was to get someone on board to replace Free.
Signing free agents has been covered and they thought the backups would step up.
You can't cover every base in the off season. Too many variables.
