Please tell me how those two teams are even within 10 games of a playoff spot. Mets have one infielder from the beginning of the year left and he is a knee twist away from going on the DL, Cespedes is hurt, Bruce is awful, Curtis hits 50 HRs with 40 RBIs, D'arnaud cant get a hit to save his live, half the pitchers are hurt-Terry should not lose his job, he should get a raise and an extension. How they are winning is stunning.

Not sure of serious about 10 games comment? Mets are 9 games out lol

Terry and a raise. Wow!

I will be surprised if either make the playoffs.

Then you are not paying attention.

I am paying attention. On the AL side, I find it hard to believe the Yankees will catch Baltimore or Detroit for the 2nd wildcard spot and they have to hold off Houston. On the NL side, I also find it hard for the Mets to catch the Cardinals for the 2nd wildcard spot.

The Yankees have a better chance than the Mets, we don't have the horses :(

We are playing ALL the teams in front of us.

It's no longer "catch".... It's "take"... We are in position to step on and over the teams in front of us.

Well.... Oddly enough, I disagree. The "spark"'from Cespedes and Reyes seems real.

Pitching, they had it late last season, not so much now. And Cabrera gone for the year.

Meant Walker but it won't surprise me if he is next!

I agree. D'arnaud might as well get injured cause he is playing like he is. He will go somewhere next year and light it up. he has to get out of New York. The kid cant handle the pressure. Grandy is having a terrible year. Sit him down. I did not like the Bruce trade before it happened and hate it more now. He just occupies a spot that someone else should have. No right handed outfielders other than Cespedes. MVP is Colon. Who would have thought that. He stinks one up every 4 to 5 games but the old goat is surprises me every time he takes the mound.

Yea, the whole team pretty much stinks minus a couple players. It is pretty sad when the old man is our current ace, hehe. I can't wait for TDA and Duda to go elsewhere and can take Bruce and Grandy with them. I did not like TDA from day 1, knew he was terrible at defense.

If the Mets pull this thing out, then they will take the place of the 69 Miracle Mets. They keep pulling guys off teh street and they keep winning. Degrom is down now, Wilmer has been out for a while, Cabrerra is playing on one leg, Cespedes is playing on one leg, Lagares is back but cant swing a bat, Duda can swing a bat but cant play the field...It really is quite amazing. Dont think they can do much even if they get to the Playoffs but they are further ahead than I would have put them six weeks ago. And that is with Jay (please strike out instead of hitting in a double play) Bruce in the lineup.

20 wins in 27 games is impressive.

Yankees trying to place other foot in coffin.
