I stumbled upon this trailer. I had no idea this movie was in the works. The television series was before my time. I knew the show existed, but I never saw any episodes.

Seems like Hollyweird is running out of fresh ideas.....
The good thing is this cannot possibly be worse than the Wild Wild West remake.

Pretty much every TV show ever made is 'in production' as a movie. Hollywood is pretty bereft of ideas or creative understanding, so pretty much nothing gets done unless it already exists in some other form of media. The money guys there wouldn't know a good idea if it bit them on the butt, so they pretty much just copy things. Original stuff gets made mostly if some successful actor or director attaches themselves to a project.

Atrocious because Superman wasn't God and didn't save everyone. Too funny.

Atrocious because it was a terribly written and directed movie. I did not like the way they did Krypton, I did not like the use of flashbacks, I did not like the way Lois Lane was almost forced into the movie, I did not like the way the action scenes were so mind numbing only a 13 year old boy would enjoy it, I did not like how they literally destroyed Metropolis yet Clark shows up for work at the Daily Planet like nothing happened, etc.... I did not like any part of the movie. Also, I did not expect him to save "everyone" but he did not even try to get Zod out of the city as they were leveling it which is not very Superman like. I could go on and on about how bad of a piece of crap this movie was but I will stop now,

BTW - If you enjoyed it then that is great. To each their own. Of the 20 or so people I personally know who saw it, only one person thought it was good while the rest of them felt just as I did. Heck, five or six people in the theater I was in booed at the end movie which I have never seen happen before.

Yes. And you did not like how Superman wasn't God. We get it.
