Well, I titled it that because "Do you smell?" sounds a bit weird. Anyway, I was wondering if this is normal.

My wife and I were at Ruth's Chris last night. After we got seated my wife went to the ladies room. The waitress came by and handed me the menus. I asked her a question about one of the selections and she walked behind me and bent over my shoulder and started to explain her answer.

Right in the middle of her talking he said, "Oh my god, you smell fantastic." I said "Excuse me?" She said "You smell great. What kind of cologne do you use?" I said "I don't use cologne." She said, "Yes, you do, I can smell it." About that time my wife comes back to the table. The waitress says to my wife, "Your husband smells great, but he won't tell me what cologne he is wearing." She says, "He doesn't wear cologne."

She then says something like "Okay, whatever." and giggles. My wife told me that what she was smelling was the men's body wash I used.

I use Gillette Men's Body wash but was wondering what others use and if you have had any similar reactions. I was really taken aback by this waitress and thought it was really strange.

Wife got me some of that Gillette body wash.

Some time ago she bought some body wash and I got to where I liked using it more than the soap bars. Seems like my skin does not get as dry with the body wash. However the original body wash she got was vanilla scent or something.

So I told her to get some scented body wash for me that is not a girly type smell.

So she got the Gillette and the AXE body washes.

The gillete seems to do better with my skin but I notice it is much stronger smelling than the AXE body wash.

So I wish I could have a combo of the more subtle smell of the AXE bodywash but with whatever ingredients that is in the Gillette.

She was hitting on you and then playing it off once she saw you weren't going for it by mentioning it to your wife.

That's my take anyway.

I have seen cajun's picture...I am pretty sure she was not hitting on him.

:p: ;)

Old Spice has some good smelling body washes. I like the Fiji.

Workin' for tips. Not that you don't smell nice, Cajun.

As far as scents go, most of the time I go with Jack Daniels and then the aerosol version of whatever it was I had for lunch. Seems to work.

Hey, who said she had good taste?

Oh wait....

Never mind.

:eek::

I rub myself in motor oil and sawdust each morning in honor of a true man's man.......Al Borland.

lol. That reminds me. When I was in junior high, I took this girl to the movies. She said I smelled good. What she was smelling fresh scent speed stick. :lmao2:

I can't wear cologne. I can't breath when I smell it. Perfume does too. My wife doesn't wear it either. I can't figure out why people think that stuff smells good. It doesn't, it stinks. It's like wearing the smell of hair spray or something.

These days, I use scentless deodorant. Even fresh scent became to much. (though I don't use speedstick anymore either)

I had the same reaction once with Kil. It turned out it was a new scent of deodorant.

I buy Dove cucumber and green tea body wash and the smell is subtly fresh. I'm not a big fan of fruity smelling body wash either. I get enough bug bites without inviting them all over with a smelly soap.

At least he had something on it that smelled nice. I have a few user PC's my techniciancs refuse to work on, so the users started complaing.

That is until I emailed picturs of their keyboards and mice and PC to their director.

BTW: They are all smokers so the nicotineville was out of control.

Yeah I use Gillette Men's Body Wash and it is great (The one in the silver and green bottle). No need for cologne and it is a great alternative to smelling like rust and old gym socks. It does seem to turn women on from the experiences I have had.

Lately I've been using Dove Men Care Body Wash. I think I like Dove a bit better than Gilette.

Had that happen once and what she smelled was my Speed Stick spice scent deodorant. This girl was very hot too. It led to a make out. She was a terrible kisser. I was really bummed. The worst I ever kissed in fact.

I use Sex Panther cologne.

It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

60 percent of the time, it works every time.

I use some Old Spice spray stuff my wife put by my sink and told me to wear. That will do until she puts something else there.
