With all the pressure on Garrett to bring this team back to domination, what more do you want?

If you stop and think about it, if Dallas gets 10 plays back this year, we are still in playoff contention, and possibly leading the NFC East.

Barron's stupid holding penalty, Roy Williams fumble, are two plays that come to mind.

In fact, if the Garrett-run Cowboys just raise their level of play, and end up doing better on just 2 more plays each game, they could run the table, at least ending up 12-4 NEXT season.

2 more plays each game, that's not far fetched at all!!!!

Which plays do you want back this season????

Which plays do you want back this season????

1. Romo's injury.

2. Barron's holding penalty at the end.

3. That final long kickoff return against the Titans.

4. Percy Harvin's kickoff return for a touchdown to start the second half.

How about any called play where MBIII has to go wide on 3rd down? How many times have we seen that not work? Yet, we're like the little train that could...except that he can't....but he keeps trying....:banghead:

Give Detroit, Buffalo, SF, etc half a dozen plays and they can be playoff teams, too.

I love optimistic people.

how does one break even on this board, if they are over happy, they are optimistic and people are irked, if they are real, they are called pessimists and im irked, and if they are down right stupid, they are called homers, or trolls and everyone else is irked.

We are all in the same boat it seems, sunk.

Most of the stupid people around here won't agree with you for a few reasons.
  • They hate to admit luck plays any part in this.
  • They believe underating the talent and staff is a means of setting a bar high enough to ensure success.
The 2nd one is what really bothers me most. Things didn't go our way so lets burn it down. How can anyone on this team be worth a blank since our record is 3-8?
When what's needed most is an accurate evaluation of what we have and what we need to compete at the highest level.

I was being complimentary not derisive.

Those three holdings, errrr. MUGGINGS on the Percy Harvin return bother me to no end. Of course nowadays, under Garrett, those kinds of things represent adversity, that the Cowboys rise up against.

I just hate that we had to fight the refs and the Vikings on that one.

Yeah, the referees were out to get us that day. But that's nothing different over our fifty years of existence. I'm hoping Garrett has our players playing to a level where they aren't doing anything suspicious and they can overcome setbacks like that.
