The media don't hate us. They love to aggravate us because we're the one fan base that responses in droves, adding to their existence.

That is pretty much it.

And I think some people love to gripe about feeling disrespected.

I have never understood that.

Sorry we Yanks live in America. Where we have a distorted English vocabulary and the majority of the public have a lower IQ than the world. Study have shown that anti-Cowboy-ism and a bias against that American football team correlates to their lower IQ and is making our country look stupid.

I'm glad that "cool" has replaced "groovey". Groovey just doesn't sound cool. I wonder what the next word will be. Cool seems to be lasting a long time in this culture. I hope it's "hot" next.

Same here -- I've been a fan since the days when Eddie Le Baron was their QB. You can't go any farther back than that! -- lol.

It seemed like forever before folks finally decided to quit incessantly making fun of me for being a fan.

Finally, in '65 when Bullet Bob arrived on the scene, the laughter abated, thank God.
