It’s very important to get this kid off the field if we plan on keeping him. Lol. He needs rest. Was he playing in the 4th quarter. If so I would be yelling at Quinn, we need him fresh later in the season. Keep putting him in the end and someone will take out his knee. They are trying now. I love his heart and it spreads through the team but if we want him for a career let’s use him smart. I didn’t watch all the game. Did we move him around.

Am I the only one that had a problem with Parsons not getting credited with a couple of sacks?
  • The bad snap that Jones had to go jump on. He could have picked it up and thrown it. Why no sack?
  • Jones started to run and was sacked almost immediately. I don’t care if it was a designed run. The quarterback was tackled for a loss.

DLaw will have to give up his paycheck soon.
DLaw used to be the one drawing the double teams. Now, he gets to benefit from it. Only difference now is we actually have players who can get sacks when they choose to double our best pass rusher ... and they pretty much have to double Micah on every down.

How about the idiots that don’t want to pay him. I mean that’s amongst the dumbest things I’ve ever heard in the history of this board
It's a managerial choice as to whether you want to allocate your money for an impact player or for better quality across several positions. Bellicheck would probably opt for the latter, Parcels probably for the former.

Yeah I always thought if qb is tackled behind the LOS it’s registered as a sack.

Would like to see someone figure out how to interpret the double-teams and other facets of football into some type of stat.

Next Gen NFL, PFF, and some others doing some things but probably what is great about the game. Only sport you can't truly judge by stats.

The reasoning is he was projected to play off ball linebacker. Parsons also took off a year because of the covid season so nobody got to see him take many pass rush snaps
He would still be one of the best in the league if that's what he was

I’m probably misreading this, but several late game sideline shots of him seemed to reveal unhappiness. Does he want (need) to have the most sacks, to be THE man? What’s more important to him—a trophy for Dallas or a ring for Micah? Just wondering.

I said this last year when Parsons was mentioned as a candidate to be the defensive player of the year. Defenses are built around stopping him. He gets more attention than any defensive player I have seen since Lawrence Taylor. TJ Watt gets sacks but he does not get 3 guys blocking him very often like Micah does. The Cowboys defense is as good as it is because of Micah Parsons.

Micah hates to come out of the game. Period. He’s never happy on the sidelines.

He's going to get QB money. Paying him is basically paying to distribute sacks across the whole DL.

There is no player as impactful as him on the defensive side of the ball, and it's not even close.
We can't have 2 QBs making big money so we know the easy answer. Parsons makes everyone around him better, there are no excuses for him.

Honestly though, if I wreaked the havoc that he did I would want another sack in that sackfest too. The work he puts in - I am sure he is not content with 1 sack. It is a team game but recognition for the work you put in is justified and you don't even get credited for an assist!

Assuming you mean two players making QB money, and not actually two QBs, yes you can.

Dak is still far more valuable than any defensive player, so he's the one you'd choose if it came down to it.

The biggest problem with Micah Pasons is keeping the guy healthy. Not sure the guy knows how to take a play off.
They had him take plenty of plays off Sunday night.

Hopefully with a little more bulk he will not wear down and be able to stay on the field for a higher percentage of plays.

I know he wants stats. But we need those stats in the playoffs and hopefully SB. I want him this fresh in post season.
