The Garrett hire wasnt good if its going to limit the coaches we will be able to look at.
I think the whole grooming idea is pretty stupid myself.
You dont give any coach in this league a high profile job like the Dallas Cowboys and let him know he is on a short leash because his offensive coordinator is eventually going to have his job anyways.
Im not against Norv or Wade Phillips but we at least owe it to them to give them the job and not just yank the rug out from under their feet within a couple of years.
Rex Ryan would be a great hire. Every story you hear about this guy just makes you think he is leading up for greatness as a Coach in this league and we may not even give the man an interview.
I think Jerry may be affraid if we hire a guy like Ryan and he has success that he will lose Garrett down the road and that Garrett could end up being the better coach or something.
If Jason Garrett is your future coach then make the future now. I want to win now and I dont want any restraints because a coach has to look over his shoulders every 2 seconds.
If I was in the new head coaches position and even my best friend was playing the role Jason Garrett is playing here I would have a major problem with it.
The more I think about it the more frustrated im starting to get and it seems like when you have this many questions its hard to get all the answers.
We may be in a bigger mess than I initially thought.
I cant believe some of you actually wanted Parcells gone. Anything it looks like we are going to have coaching us next season is going to be a downgrade..
