the more I think he will be a very nice pro player...

I would take a flyer on him in the second or third if we lose Julius (and we will)...

I agree.

He's a nice player. Good size.

I would like to see us get a guy like Stewart.

I also wonder if a guy like Mike Hart would pair up well with Barber?

I've been driving the TC bandwagon for a while now. I think we'll have to spend more than a 2nd or 3rd on him, though. He'll be gone by our 2nd round pick.

You don't think he will be there at 63? :D

(Remember the Pats lost a pick)...

I had also mentioned him early in the year... the kid is a very hard worker and has great talent and instincts...

I also think Felix Jones could be a player and he has the Arkansas connection...

I'd be ecstatic if he did. I have him rated as the 2nd best back in this draft.

Can you believe he's rushed 82 times for 446 yards in 3 games since having knee surgery in October? Unreal.

The kid from Tennessee looks good, Arian Foster. I don't know if he's coming out, but he and a Barber connection would definiteley wear defenses down!! McFadden is great, but i still think that keeping the two 1st round picks for a corner, a receiver, or a running back in the first round would be good. It will only add to the team we have now!

Foster's a JR.

I'd be surprised if he came out.

I dont think he's anywhere near the 2nd best back, but he is a good back...he'll probably be a 1st day pick

he is not as gifted as McFadden, Felix Jones, Slaton or some others though

He's a more complete back than Felix and Slaton. He has better cutting ability than both and better vision.

I'm not sold at all on Felix Jones.

I like his speed, but he just has that scat-back look about him.

I think Jonathon Stewart is the second best back if he comes out.

I agree that Stewart is a good one as well...

His size scares me. He could balloon up to 240-250 in a heart beat. How many successful 250 lb. running backs are there?

It may not ever happen, but you have to limit your margins for error in draft picks.

Have you seen pictures of the guy?

Not an ounce of fat on him.

It doesn't provide much comfort to know that 235 is on the low end of what he could weigh.

He's a physical speciman.

It is a worry....It would be with a lot of bigger backs.

But when a guy is all muscle, then it makes me relax a bit.

It's a judgment call. But when you have 2 backs of equivalent production/speed/cutting ability/balance/vision/power, I'd go with the one that has a slightly less risk in terms of physical development.

I like Choice too.

I would be happy with either guy.

I like this Tony Temple kid, looks like an Emmitt Smith, short, compact, great balance, vision, burst

What about Mendenhall?

He's had a good year.

I'd stay if I were him, he's on a good team that will contend next year for the Big10, and he can compete to be the #1 back in '08, there will be no such competition this year, it's all McFadden's to lose
