I am actually going to book flights to phoenix now in case we make it. I wont buy a ticket to the game, but i will go to Phoenix and partake in the activities, parties and watch game at a bar somewhere. But I would never pay 5k or more for any football

Keep talking absolute garbage....here, ill show you how ignorant your comments are. Last week Seahawks niner games could be had for 90 bucks. Ill say one more thing and just leave at that because you ate so clearly out in left field on this. I actually pay very close attention to ticket prices all year. If Carolina plays the bucs at home, you could get tix for a hundred bucks. If Dallas played in Carolina 2 weeks later, cheapest tickets are 300 plus.
Sorry, I can't understand what you're saying. Did you graduate?

High school?

Pretty sure everyone knows this. The point is, certain opponents drive up the market price and people are willing to pay much higher prices.
Right. Ticket prices for a Cowboys home game resell significantly higher if it’s the Steelers, Packers and 49ers are not far behind.

Y'all gotta get some perspective.

This game is in the heart of Silicon Valley (they don't play in the San Francisco and haven't for years).

Average rent in the area for an apartment is 3k a month. Median home price is 1.3 million.

These prices aren't about opponent. They are about rich folks and a good weather forecast

who gives 1 damn... those are resale sites where season ticket holders as well as the NFL, as well as corporations who do nothing but sell tickets. The prices are what they are.
Ive been writing on this topic off and on all year, including writing my congressman. Then, as soon as the crap hit the fan over taylor swift tickets, THEN people started taking notice of what Ive been saying for years now. The tickets are controlled by illegal monopolies. The entire market is manipulated and controlled by ticketmaster, stubhub, and the like to our detriment. These prices are being manipulated by these brokers using their control of the market, using algorithms to see how many peope are looking at tickets, using the fact they know how many games youve already gone to, where youve gone and how much you have paid. It is such a racket.
There is one way to stop the racket. Less demand for the tickets.

I’ve never bought brokered tickets . If it’s sold out from the venue I’m not going.

I plan well in advance for sporting events and concerts always purchasing from the venue site at original prices.

These other sites like Stubhub, etc are simply taking advantage of basic supply and demand.

When we went to SB XIII in Miami we had an extra ticket as my mother wasn’t feeling well that morning. So my father , brother and I sold our extra ticket in front of stadium.

We later regretted as who we sold it to wasn’t who showed up in the seat. It was a Steeler fan and we wished we hadn’t sold it.

But you might find someone looking to dump a ticket at the stadium at last minute who paid original price.

When I went to SB 28 in Atlanta we drove out there without a ticket and paid $500 scalper price.

Hotels in the area are going for about $1,000 for SB weekend. Just on CBS this morning.

LOL what kind of a maniac would spend that kind of money to go to a football game. Hard pass.
Everything is relative . $5,000 bucks is chump change to some people.

Not much more than a luxury week on vacation for some .

And to others it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.

selling doesnt work that way anymore. I would NEVER buy a ticket from someone that wasnt online as you could get ripped off . Online means you are protected.
