is the officials calling bad offsides penalties on Ware that keep the opponent's drives alive and they end up scoring.

it isn't Ware's fault that he has superb anticipation. it isn't his fault he can read the snap and be off with the snap.

it is however, the fault of the refs to not study up on these things and know the tendencies of players. I know the refs review all the films to see how they officiated the games. I also know that they look for tendencies with certain players.

That first drive will bug me for a very long time, because down inside, I will always know that the giants should have punted......

also, colombo had been getting a quick start off the snap all 4th quarter....it appeared like a false start every time, but it wasn't being called. Then, finally in the final minute, the refs decide to call it. That was complete horse crap. They let it go all 4th quarter and then wait till the game hangs in the balance to call it.

finally, that was not intentional grounding by Romo. There was absolutely no pressure on him. He just chunked it away. maybe there is something I do not understand about the rule, but I am under the impression that he has to be under pressure and inside the tackles.

Some questionable calls were made by the refs today.

It's obvious things like these that makes you consistently question the integrity of the NFL. It happens year in and year out, without accountability.

what bugs me is how Harrison and Vrabel are consistently allowed to cheap shot without suspensions from the league....yet Roy gets suspended for excessive horsecollars.

i understand they dont like the tackle and it is banned. i even agree with the suspension. however, i think that harrison and vrabel have done plenty this year with all of their cheap shots to warrant a suspension as well.

i would actually like to see the NFL implement something the NBA did. after 3 personal fouls, a player gets suspended for 1 game. Now the league would have to clearly define the types of personal fouls...cause pass rushers would be in severe trouble cause roughing the passer is extremely subjective.

That was a bad call, or how about the 15 yd facemask on reeves he barely got it, it should have been a 5 yarder.

i thought it was funny when Roy got into with Jacobs and Coughlin was crying about a facemask....but Jacobs was grabbing Roys facemask throughout the whole altercation.....and yet NO PENALTY

I'm sure they'll get a stern talking to and 2 chocolate chip cookies before being tucked in at night rather than the usual 3.

There were quite a few stupid calls.

How about the holding call on a punt that went out of bounds, how on earth would something like that affect the play when there is no play to be made? I also felt there were a couple of times late in the game that Romo was getting hit and dragged down late, especially that one where Osi smiled as he got up and walked away. Not to mention Pierce coming in with that WWF elbow after Romo had given himself up which wasn't called.

There was another penalty on the same play Ware was penalized.

Illegal hands to the face by Diehl. He was pushing Ware's faceback up for over a full second and almost pushed his face mask off, then released once Ware started being bent backwards.

Earlier in the year, Tony Kornheiser made a comment that elicited the conspiracy theorist within me.

He mentioned that he wanted the season to end with Brett Favre playing the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. According to Kornheiser, this desire was not his alone; the media and the NFL also wanted this particular "story" (as he phrased it) to emerge because there would be a definite good guy--Brett Favre playing the protagonistic old man seeking just one more accolade on a storied carrier--versus definite bad guys--Bill Belichik and Randy Moss, classic NFL villians.

Interestingly, Kornheiser also scoffed at the possible storylines surrounding a Dallas/New England Super Bowl because, according to him, both TO and Moss were consummate bad guys.

In the wake of Kornheiser's comments, isn't it interesting that both Dallas and Indianapolis lost this weekend--the only two teams truly capable of keeping either New England or Green Bay out of the Super Bowl?

Alright. I'm removing my tinfoil hat now.;)

I kept mine off too. I saw something on ESPN this week that stated "When the Cowboys lose...", with the ... being something about Romo's vacation. I was like, shouldn't that be "if"? I dismissed that and still dismiss it.

Oh, and in Dallas's 3 games against the Giants this year, Dallas leads the penalty race 28 to 15.
