The most impressive thing about yesterdays win

There are many things that really impressed me; the defense played their best game of the year, the offense was rolling on all cylinders, and special teams are special again in big D!

You can easily disagree with me and make a case for any of the above mentioned things; however, I think the most impressive thing about yesterdays win is who WASN’T on the field:

-Randy Gregory (he’s been our best pass rusher this year without question)

-Demarcus Lawrence (4th ranked DE last year, you can have your opinion but he is far better than whoever they choose to play in his DE spot during his absence)

-Tyron Smith (our win/loss record with and without him on the field is drastically different and there’s a pretty large sample size unfortunately. He’s really one of the most important pieces to this puzzle)

-Cedrick Wilson (he’s been a very reliable WR in Gallup’s absence including a 4th down fairly difficult catch that ultimately lead to a win vs. the Patriots.. if he doesn’t catch that ball we lose that game).

There are several others but you get the point. It’s imperative that we go into the playoffs healthy as possible because the healthiest team is generally speaking - the team that wins it all.

Gallup's tip-toe catch, in all likelihood, reminded the fans here why he is such an important piece to the offense.

Dak waited out the pass rusher, and threw the TD to Cee Dee where he would be, before Lamb made his cut.

Zeke crossed the offense to make a brilliant block for Dak on the Gallup catch.

The trick play that was called back for the penalty is merely one version of that play. I suspect when the play-offs come, Moore will resurrect that with a variation. I believe McGovern will make an important catch at some point.

Nice to see Dallas has a TE that can play similar to Schultz. This will be significant soon.

The Falcons made a pretty nice drive their first time with the ball. People here have lamented about adjustments made by coaching staff's in the past. Looks like Dallas made an adjustment in the first quarter and clamped down on the Falcon's offense.

Just a great win.

The most impressive thing about that win was Zeke didn't carry us to victory. A good team finds many different ways to win games. Some like to discredit Dak because of his win-loss record without Zeke or the running game. Well chalk one more victory up to Dallas winning without the run heavy play calling.

The talk of Blue print in beating the Cowboys was overblown. Based on what I see the blue print is you better hope the Cowboys play poorly because when this team is playing to their ability they can beat anyone out there.

Most impressive thing yesterday was viciously responding to the humiliating total team loss we had at Denver. In the past several years we likely play sloppy and barely win,or lose another game, with the losers mentality we had.

My son told me he heard an interview with Cooper, talking about the Denver loss. He said his hamstrings were killing him. Cee Dee's ankle was hurting him. Zeke had a knee thing. And Dak was out of sorts due to his lack of practicing. Coop said if there was a game which could be lost, this one was it. No sense in reinjuring or making an injury worse.

I cannot find this interview. Frankly, I haven't looked. I don't think my kid would make it up.

I think that Lewis was the most impressive thing yesterday. Defensed multiple passes at critical points early in the game that really thwarted any momentum that the Falcons desperately needed and ultimately demoralized them. His int was an afterthought in comparison to his early breakups.

Good stuff gentlemen, all are very good responses [so far]
