No way we run the gauntlet. 50/50 chance we finally beat Tom Brady. But I don't see us being the Eagles in Philly if Hurts is healthy. The Cowboys will have played 3 straight road games by then and the Eagles would be playing at home with a week's worth of rest.

So you think we should just forfeit?

If San Fran were to get knocked out by Giants would be a gift.
Honestly I dont know if that is a scenario matchup DF vs NY or Washington, I havent had the time to look just yet.

What we want to see is a formidable team going to SF in round one.

If either the six or seven can pull an upset, it eliminates SF and we avoid Philly until the CCG.

I would have thought the best bet would have been Detroit, then last week happened.

Probably still the best bet to be able to pull that off. The Giants aren’t any good and Washington can’t get that done. Maybe Green Bay.

50-50 vs the Bucs? That's bit absurd, no?

The team should get mentally prepared to battle those teams. However the Playoffs rarely go like you think they will, some upsets will happen. If Dallas has to play TB cool, just go beat them and see what happens.

Edit: Also, the Bucs have to play CAR who beat them already, and if CAR wins on Sunday vs TB they will take over the division.

Speaking of this, MM needs to make a serious point of the players not thinking this way.

I mean, NOT talking about the path to the Super Bowl, but more about the game in front of you.

Hopefully the owner can shut it with “Super Bowl” talk but now I’m asking for miracles.

Tampa should not be difficult. The team should win that one.
Philadelphia can go either way, depending upon how Dak and the defense plays.
San Francisco would be the toughest because they're better than last year.

We all forget SF is starting a rookie QB. Assuming he starts in the playoffs I expect the Brock Purdy magic to end just like Dak’s rookie run ended.

It would be a tough stretch. But I don’t make definitive statements about what hasn’t happened.

But I would put SF before Philly since I don’t see the Vikings getting out of the first round.

i have no faith in this team to win a playoff game on the road. i read earlier that this team has not won a playoff game since the 92 season. tampa will treat the cowboys playoff game like there super bowl this year since they will not have a chance to win against the rest of the nfc teams.

The first game this season wasn't even competitive, and Brady owns Dallas. There's a mental hurdle to overcome here.

But yes, Dallas should win easily on paper.

It should be, but Brady is 7-0 against Dallas, so that will play mind tricks.
I think the Cowboys go down there, enjoy the nice weather and blow them out. The Bucs are a bad team an Brady is a shell of his championship days.

I would agree if not for Week 1.
