In my opinion, one of the most overlooked free agent signings that we have gained this offseason is Rocky Boiman. A lot of people don't know much about him, but you will be pleasantly surpised. I've been watching him since he played at Notre Dame. He's as tough as nails, too. Next season I think he will be a bright and shiny surprise.

Could be wrong but I figure he will be a back up at LB and a starter on ST.

This guy was brought in IMO for his special teams play because that is the area he seems to shine and we all know BP likes players on ST.

I've seen him a play a few games in Nashville. He's a good, solid backup outside linebacker.

If Rocky Boiman sees time on anything other than special teams, something will have gone seriously wrong.

He'll see some time at linebacker, even if everything goes perfectly. He's pretty good in pass coverage, so he'll probably be in some nickel packages.

I know this is a Rocky thread, but I think the most overlooked signing is Ryan Hannam. As great a locker room guy as he was, Campbell was very ineffective last year. Getting a younger blocking TE who can actually catch the ball every once in a while is really going to help our offense.
