I don't mean to cause any more hysteria. For a long time we have been the undisputed kings of the Post Season. If the ship doesn't right itself we're about to lose that distinction even more.

All Time Post Season Records

Dallas Cowboys...32-23

Pittsburgh Steelers...31-19

Dallas began in 1960. The Steelers in 1933. However, prior to 1970 the Steelers were 0-1 all time in the Post season. So since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 they are essentially 31-18. From 1966 to 1969 the Cowboys were 1-4 in the post season. That would put them at 31-19 in the same time frame as the Steelers. A difference of 1 loss between the 2 teams.

About to lose?

Not only do the Steelers now have 6 trophies, the Steelers are 6 for 7, and we are 5 for 8 in Super Bowls.

We have some making up to do.

If we could beat them in next years SB, that would be a start.

Well, let's see. Our leader is . . . Wade Phillips.

Well, the ship is sinking. But we'll catch up to the Steelers after Jerra comes to his senses!

I was thinking last night that this should light a fire under the Cowboys to reclaim the title. I would hope that this would motivate the team to show that we are the best franchise.

Then I realized that the sad reality of today's NFL, and especially our "superstar" team, is that the players don't care about the history of their team. The fans are more concerned about protecting the Dallas franchise than the players--and our team name is being dragged through the mud.

Listened to it on the road. Made me sick. Did save me a ticket though. I got so disgusted I turned the radio off. Then a few minutes later I was looking for some blues. I had slowed down while searching and got thru a speed trap. At least some little good came from it.

If you're seeking the reasons for the Steelers' recent success, simply look at the manner in which their organization is run. And then compare it to the manner in which the Cowboys' organization is run. There, you will discover the reasons for the Cowboys' recent doldrums.
