News: The Narrative on Coop

Coops has not earned near half of his contract money .

Neither has Dak, but they're stuck with his sorry butt...

All our WRs have suddenly become average
All our OL suddenly can’t pass block

Hmmm…. It couldn’t be the QB, could it?

No way

Could have sworn I read that Dallas had a top rated (top 10?) o'line. Cincy had one of the worst o'lines and made it to the super bowl.

Dak homies will say these are fighting words, but it seems to me the culprit is plain as day.

The fact they fed Coop the ball after he publicly expressed frustration is telling as well… Clearly they could work him in the offense when motivated to do so— so why were they not consistently working in his targets all along?

I think the milk soured after he missed those two games— and the FO and staff just worked around him as opposed to rely on him

Yes that made it all the more frustrating, because the offense is better when he is involved. I understand the cap, but he's still young and productive (when given the opportunity.) Hes a candidate for restructure before release imo.

My narrative is that in the first half when our defense was letting the 49ers march down the field and build their lead Cooper had our lone receiving touchdown of the game that kept the game manageable.

pass block or run block

QB has to get the offense in the right look and matchup

Oh ok, so now it's Daks fault the line can't run block and Zeke is running straight up the gut into the back of his no push blocker.

This is what I can not understand. . . why is there such a disconnect between Cowboy Fans.

Why can't we all agree upon Dak's capabilities . . . For the life of me I don't understand it

People here are dissecting Amari without factoring in Dak . . . So much shade is being thrown at Amari from His Heart His Mental and Ability.

We traded for Amari and because He was made available . . . we paid him because Dak and Him were magical in the beginning . . . Then what happened is what always happens . . . Defenses figured us out and Dak could not adjust.

So now Amari no matter how hard he struggles to get open in that small window of opportunity . . . Dak will miss it or not anticipate it and Zeke will be getting a check down.

Amari was perfect because he kept his mouth shut and He got paid. . . He sulks and broods but for the most part He keeps His mouth shut.

Well after the carousal of "Who gets the blame for Dak" landed on the WR Corps. . . Amari wasn't having it and spoke up . . .

Now he is out the door . . . And Now Cee Dee will be the new escape goat . . . because there is no way He will be open enough for Dak.

Meanwhile half the fan base is clueless and are discussing Cowboy Football from the premise that DAK DOESNT SUCK . . . its insanity

People are trying to play Dr Fraud and say Theres a black cloud that follows him . . . I will say this He has played for The Raiders & Cowboys . . . Enough said

Bon voyage Amari.

I hope you end up in Cincinnati, New England, San Diego, Buffalo or wherever Rodgers goes and I hope you go for 120 rec. 1400 and 12td

Replacing him is the key issue.

I view it as another bad contract and another misplayed player situation by an incompetent GM and his front office

I don't know that we go WR at 24 (possible depending on board). We look as if we're re-signing Gallup and now is the time to start relying on CeeDee (time to step up to your potential) and Dak (earn his money)...and MM to big brother KM.
I would take a WR, but still think the Line's are the priority and the chances we get a difference making WR at 24 is slim.

Coop is a victim of the dysfunctional Offense, and now we can't afford to continue paying for failure...I agree it's addition by subtraction and not necessarily his fault, but it doesn't really matter....it's not as if he was playing to the standard of Kupp or Hill

Yes he had some drops but also some very special catches . He is a streaky receiver , and Dak’s placement and lack of passing consistently, coupled with lack of targets to Cee Dee , has made Cee Dee and many good receivers look average . Heck , Dak ended Dez’s career and now Cooper and may ruin Cee Dee too . He misses many open reads and is so inconsistent. Cee Dee has to be targeted early and often to be utilized right .

We had the number one offense at one point with virtually no run game, so this notion that Dak is making these receivers look bad is not true. Why didn't Dez do anything once he left the Cowboys if it was Dak making him look bad?

Sort of like how Aaron Rodgers scored less than Dak against the 49ers, but the excuse is it was toooooo cold, so that's ok

Are you gonna constantly put all the blame on the O Line for the rest of this offseason?

When we stopped being able to run the ball we stopped being able to compete. It is as much on coaching as it is the players. You can't win games without a bare minimum of threatening a run game.

yeah because playing in an indoor stadium is the same as playing in below freezing temps and snow outdoor

you go girl

wahhhh its tooooo coooldd for awwwon wodgers

These are grown football players and Rodgers could barely put up 10 points. if that was dak you'd be crying to the high heavens

i smell an agenda but that’s not new for you

Anything to further the Zeke sucks narrative while ignoring the 42 million/year elephant in the room

I got it

You're just making stuff up now. I've never had an agenda against Zeke. It's the oline and coaching I give the Lions share.

That said, TP was our best back last season.
