These are going to be some great battles this year, the west is so talented this year every round is going to be difficult. Being a Laker fan I'm kind of worried about having Oklahoma City in the first round, Durant, Westbrook, Green, and Harden are beasts, would've rather had Portland. Also in the east i can see Atlanta upsetting alot of teams, maybe even Cleveland.

As a Spurs fan, I really want to believe the Spurs can beat the Lakers. However, I just don't see it happening, well unless Jefferson and Mason decide to show up throughout the entire series, which I know won't happen.

old and tired is Mavs fans beasting out year after year only to end up looking at nothing but cobwebs, like Eagles fans.

I am a Spurs homer. The big 3 have three titles together. As long as they are playing together, I will have faith and I will refuse to accept defeat.

I am not as confident as I was in year's past, mainly cause Bowen, our best perimeter defender is gone. However, I still believe they will win this series. I dont talk as much trash as I used to.

Just like we did for the Cowboys......I will do for the Spurs.

All I ask for is a well played series. I hope the officials let both teams play....swallow those whistles and dont call a ton of touch fouls. Save the whistles for the hard fouls. Basically, let the players have a flow and let them decide the game, instead of the whistles. I never want to see another 98 FT game again.....that game was brutal to watch.

One thing I do find comical is the reaction of Mavs fans, when us Spurs fans bring up the 4 rings to the Mavs 0. Now the Mavs fans I am talking about are also Cowboys fans who mock the Eagles for having 0 Lombardi's.

Do you get the sweet irony, at least from a Spurs fan's point of view.

Oh and before the Mavs fans start coming to attack me cause of my trophy case comment, let me say this. Of the top 5 teams in the West, the Mavs are the team I least wanted the Spurs to play.

LeChoke James will not lead his team to the OBrien. He doesnt have the cahones to do so. King James befits him as he is the King of Choke. Cleveland may dominate a weak and feeble East, but the Cavs can't hang with the Lakers, Mavs, Suns, or Spurs.

Yeah who cares about the East. They've only won 2 of the last 4 championships. Please the East isn't insignificant and usually have the better deeper more exciting series but who cares. If the West is so great why do all the series seem to always end in 4 or 5 games.

I didn't say they weren't exciting but those are series spread across a few years. Now compared to last year alone with the Bulls/Celtics, Celtics/Magic, Magic/Sixers, Magic/Cavs the West may have 1 if lucky of those types of playoffs each year. The East has about 3-4 those a year. It seems almost everytime I look up the West series are over in 4 or 5 games. Not all of them but the majority of them are lackluster compared to the East. You don't know what you are talking about so just sit back and enjoy ALL of the playoffs and not make silly statements like 'no one cares about the East' because they do.
