The new defense can tackle

There's was definitely a better focus on that area, but they're dead wrong. I saw a few.

Other than being injury free (I think), having ZERO missed tackles is the best thing out of this game.

He looks to be the real deal.

In the OP it literally is comparing last night to last years first preseason game.
Our preseason 2s and 3s have looked totally incompetent for many years. I’m not buying into any preseason hype but was encouraged by many things I saw on the field.

Most of the players from last year are still on the team genius. Obviously you were wrong but I know how most of you dudes are on here. Can never take an L.
To be fair, Bell and Houston are the only guys who really contributed against Seattle and played against the Rams last year. Of players with at least 3 tackles:

Seattle:
Curtis Robinson
Julius Wood
Caelen Carson
Justin Barron
James Houston
Markquese Bell

Reddy Steward
Malachi Lawrence
Langston Patterson
Kelvin Gilliam Jr.

LAR:
Zion Childress
Mike Smith Jr.
Alijah Clark
Darius Harris
Shemar James
Tyrus Wheat
Andrew Booth
Marist Liufau
James Houston
Markquese Bell

Kemon Hall

The scheme can definitely support better tackling but it's kind of silly to think talent has nothing to do with it.

I'm not going to continue to argue that tackling has to do with talent and not want to/coaching. Believe what you want.

The defense I saw Saturday night mostly played like their hair was on fire. You can really see the culture change, I hope it sticks.

I've got to say, watching the first series of Saturday night's game I was pissed watching 21 making ridiculous penalties, and even if the penalties not happened Seattle didn't run into too much pressure taking the opening drive the distance for a big 7 points.

Most of the players on defense were on the team last year. You bringing up qualifiers about 3 tackles doesn't change what I said. Sorry
Not the ones tackling, which is relevant when we are talking about missing tackles.

Calling someone a woman as an insult is the same as liking fireworks. Neanderthal behavior.

Let's hope this continues. I don't expect 0 missed tackles but they have got to improve over precious years.

I was impressed by the way they tackled against the Seahawks and it wasn't just 1 guy.

It starts with our fits and communication. Last year we loss a lot on alignment and pre and post snap adjustments
Spot on bro.

On that goal line stop, the way our defense passed off players on 4th down to take away that underneath quick slant was a thing of beauty. I had to rewind back to make sure that was intentional.
