I am offically over the 2008 season, and ready for a new 2009! The off season has been better than expected and I believe we make two impactful trades in the draft. Positive thoughts from here on out!

At least until we draft a TE in the 2nd :bang2:

None of that has been the issue the last two years it has not been talent holding this team back it has been coaching. It starts with the headcoach.

Wake me when this team learns to play disciplined football; one that is not sloppy and full of stupid penalties

I will officially be over the 2008 season and the previous 12 seasons when we win a playoff game.

I will be officially over it when I stop seeing Romo in my wife's 'People Magazine' when I am taking a deuce, commenting on Jessica's weight. He should be studying film of his errant 2008 throws into triple coverage and his stare downs of his road roomie.

I think we will trade down, with waiting for the draft to come to us, when we pick with the 51st pick, i think a group of players will be there, that will allow us to get a trade with trading down alittle not below 5 picks down and acquiring an extra 4th rounder.

I also think that Greg Ellis or Bobby Carpenter will be traded too. And in lower rounds we will trade down again to recoup the 5th rounder the Cowboys lost to denver for OG Holland.

I also think that McQuistin might be traded too to Miami.

I wasnt too hopeful to yesterday, got my mind changed alittle by what i read from an article by randy galloway i believe. He said, 10 players on each side of the ball were glad that T O was traded. So, that shows that not too much of team division over T O being gone. Also, he said that the teams attitude was upbeat and that some players were finally saying that they realized if they dont work hard, practice, study that they might not be here either.

I do think that was part of the problem with this team, at least one of the problems, that there was no fear among the players for losing their jobs, or being traded, cut or released. So, now i am starting to have some hope for this year. We need to practice hard in training camp though, hitting in pads more and be a more physical team with some team leaders surfacing.

But I am hopeful, and now with the draft almost among us, I am starting to have some hope. At the same time, my thinking is this, show me, prove to me that you want a championship Dallas Cowboys players and coaches.

Are you alright? Perhaps it's time to seek help about this hatred issue. I mean we all have players we like and don't like, but wow...
I think you've managed to take every ounce of frustration from last year (we all have lots of it) and focus it on one player. Who were you blaming when we went 1-2 (could easily have been 0-3) without Lucifer Romo? You act like the guy sucks and is the reason for every loss we've had over the past few years. Even the staunchest Cowboys and Romo haters know that's not even close to true. Not everything is about Romo.

So a 48 year old woman in a bikini is all it takes?

I hear you man.
I have a question. I noticed your new avatar. When was that pic taken?

Was it:

When you heard the news of TO's release?
When you were taken off TO's payroll?
When you had to change your sig because it was...umm..incorrect ;) ?

You just look kinda solemn. I'm worried. Where's that energy we all got used to?

I'm just messin' with you! I actually like your new sig a lot. Choice may have been the brightest spot out of all of last year. I'm a huge fan of his as well and would have no problem with him starting.

Give me a bunch of Wares, Wittens, Ratliffs and Choices and we'd never have to worry about our team underachieving.

Had you really been paying attention you would have noticed I changed my sig to the exact same one I made pictured below right around the time he was mowing down top ranked defenses last year. I had it up for about two weeks and then went back to defense of TO. I'm done with the TO mess. He's gone. I was wrong. I manned up about it &, as far as I am concerned, he's a thing of the past. I'm not overly impressed with what we have left here but remain hopeful that one day we'll get another one of those elusive playoff wins.

Clearly I was not paying that much attention :) .
Props to you for admitting being wrong. Many, including the guy you used to defend, have yet to learn how to do that.
I have a feeling this team will play harder this year and I'm looking forward to that.
I hope we're all pleasantly surprised.
Go Cowboys.

Its gonna take a little more for me. One playoff win and then knocked out wont do it.

I am jaded :laugh1:
