This clip is an interview with Anthony Spencer and is mainly about the impending departure of Greg Ellis and what Greg means/meant to the younger guys at the position, his leadership, and his willingness to teach the younger players.

It has been harped on that there is a lack of leadership on the team and in particular on the defense. Many feel that this is the worse aspect of Ellis potentially leaving is that there will be more of a lack of leadership.

Take a look at the clip, focus in on the background at 2:35 into the clip and see who is now teaching the younger guys. I am very encouraged with intensity and commitment from what I see there with the new teacher and leader that will fill the void.

:welcome: to The Zone. Thank you for the post. Nice catch.

I love DeMarcus Ware. He is one of my all time favorite Cowboys already.

Welcome to the Zone. Nice catch on D Ware instructing the rookies.

Here's some old pics of Ellis instructing Ware back in SA a few years ago.

Good look. Welcome in.

I think we see more and more players learning to use the hand fighting as their #1 weapon because just pure speed and athleticism just doesn't get it done anymore.

I think this is why Randy White was so affective even though he was a tad bit undersized. He would just beat his man at the point of impact and become a wrecking ball in the backfield.

And I love that he's starting to get into the business of running camps and teaching young kids that this should be an important part of their skill set moving forward.

Excellent 1st Post.......Welcome to the Board...Enjoy

Yes, the student has now become the teacher.

I am heartened by Ware's opportunity to assume a leadership role "naturally" within his own comfort zone, character and personality, and not because some media pundit demands it of him.

another reason why his agent should not settle for anything less than the highest salary in league history

good find. thanks for posting that cause it put a smile on my face as i'm sure it did with many others.

Anybody else thing Ware and Spencer will be the sack leading duo in the league. I know I have no credibility left but anyone agree?

Nice catch there. Ware looked very martial in his moves. Good stuff.

And cool name! Welcome.....
