I get that you’re upset with the cowboys - but don’t shame the term “triplets” by anointing any of the above as such.
The real triplets (Troy, Irvin, Emmitt) earned that title by accomplishing something.
None of the above mentioned trios (including the current cowboys) have done squat.
Yea, they won the same number of playoff games as this group.

Its no secret that JJ and Garret have longed to duplicate the 90's.Remember those threads? Seemed premature then, feels like a long time ago now.
But it's emblematic of the 21st century Cowboys - anointed without having accomplished anything. Guys looking like they spent more time putting together their travel ensemble than watching video of the opponent, getting rock star treatment as they're driven to the stadium where a doorman awaits them. I don't recall Emmitt Smith doing that and I know Roger Staubach didn't.
"We can't lose those guys! We've got to pay them or we're screwed!"
Pay them for what? What are we afraid is going to happen if they leave? We'll lose in the playoffs, or worse, not even qualify for them? Zeke and Tank's deals are done, but let's think twice before adding Dak and Amari to the list.
That didn't last long. lolI remember when Romo, dez, and Murray were the new triplets
That didn't last long. lol
He was a great closer but as soon as the idiot coaches made him a starter it was over.It kinda did if you add in Marion Barber
Rush, Pollard and Jarwin.
Defense wasn't bad either. lolIt's funny they never talk about Staubach, Dorsett and Pearson. They were great triplets too.
Seems more like a 3-legged race now.
