With Tyrod Taylor taking over as quarterback for the Jets they finally have a shot at the playoffs, and with the Panthers playing better, the Cowboys only face one team in the next thirteen games that they match up well with; the Chiefs.
The Cowboys face the Giants to close out the season, 14 games from now. It could also be a loss.
2-15 or 1-16 looks to be their final record for the 2025 season, unless they beat the Chiefs on Thanksgiving day.
The Chiefs are showing weakness that was concealed for the past three years, and the Cowboys match up well against them.
Seriously; who do you think the Cowboys can beat as they are right now?

i dont think you can say 2-15 or 1-16 "looks to be their final record" - i think you can say its a possiblilty but the reality is that this team still has far too good of an offesne to not sneak a couple of wins here or there if they come prepared or catch a team napping. 5-12 is more realistic which would be good enough for a top 10 pick but likely not top 3...if they are going to suck, they need to embrace the suck

The only way we win is if we score a touchdown every single offensive drive. This defense isn't stopping anybody.

I'm fine if we lose the rest of our games. Something catastrophic needs to happen like those consecutive 5-11 seasons. It got us parcells.

Hello Lee. Try to remain positive my friend. I will say this though. If we are 3-6 or worse at the bye- which happens to be the trade deadline too- I am unloading anyone that a team wants, within reason. Get whatever draft picks you can get. It shouldn't just be the bye week--- it should be goodbye week for some of these guys.

No way the Cowboys start dumping players, or at least nothing in Jerry’s past 30 years as GM indicates he'll tank the team.

1-16 is what is needed.
Truth be told, 2 straight years of picking in the top 5 is what it’s gonna take to turn this team around. Add a couple years of being active in FA and hiring a proven winner at the college or pro level as a head coach. Let him have influence in the assistant coach hiring. Maybe just maybe, dumbo will loosen his grip and want one more before he passes on. Just for the record, I hope dumbo jr. isn’t next in line in the decision making process.

You're not factoring in the splash trade Jerry's going to make with one of our first round picks!

You know Jerry would never do this, right?
Maybe not but if the bottom falls out, fan participation will go down. The media will be harsher on dumbo. Al Davis never changed. Maybe Jerry will.

..I started at 11-6.

8-9 might do the trick.

Eberfluke still looking for other playbook, he left in storage.
