The next 5 games will likely decide our season

after that Lions game... I can see them maybe beating NYG (Thanksgiving) and Carolina.

the rest of the schedule (based on how they played vs Detroit) looks like a lot of pain
no amount of pain pills can help us

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here and see if anything can work in our favor.

49ers: Brock Purdy is a very average QB without his weapons. 9 TD's to 7 INT's is nothing to be happy with. The 49ers are suddenly a shark with no teeth. I can see us winning this game.

Falcons: For all the hype the Falcons received during the offseason, the results are not there. They will win their division by default now that Tampa lost their receivers. They were lucky to barely beat the Eagles despite a 9-3 penalty ratio in their favor and Sirianni's stupid play calling. They needed OT to beat the Saints. Their best offensive output was against the wretched Panthers. Cousins is basically an older Dak, except Dak wins more. Cousins has a 10-7 TD/INT ratio so far. I won't be surprised if we win this game.

Eagles: If Hurts ever fixes his footwork, he will become a damn good QB. The Eagles are an enigma. They have one of the most talent-laden rosters in the league. led by an inconsistent QB and a douchy-faced HC that can make a poor decision on any given play. They should be 5-1. Since his 2 INT game against the Packers, Hurts has only thrown two INT's. Mailata and Goedart may still be out for this game, and their replacements are rather meh. If we can cover AJ Brown and Smith, and limit the damage Barkley can do.....oh, and Dak almost always plays well against the Eagles. But I'll be surprised if we win.

Texans: Stroud is the real deal but the Texans have lapses at times. No need for details. I don't see us winning this game.

Commies: Quinn has done wonders in Washington with his roster, but the Commies schedule has been on the weak side. Still, one doesn't get to 5-2 by accident. If we had a run game I could see us taking this one. Daniels looks legit, but he is still a rookie, and rookies make mistakes. He takes care of the ball well in the offense, with a 6-2 TD/INT ratio. I don't believe he has fumbled yet either. Heck, Washington as a team has only lost one fumble all year. I know he's injured now, but will be back in a few weeks and ready to play against us. I'm 50-50 on this one, only because we'll be playing a rookie QB.

I can see us winning two games, probably losing two others, and losing one for certain.

Best case scenario: 3-2. More likely scenario: 2-3 or 1-4.
Texans will unload on us, and show us who is Texas real NFL team!!!

The next five games will not change the current trajectory. I think the wheels will come off after an embarrassing loss to the Giants on Thanksgiving.

None of those teams are better than the Steelers, who the Cowboys managed to beat. So, I think the Cowboys have a good chance of beating any of those five teams. We'll just have to wait and see. SF is missing key parts of its offense, so I believe they'll be the easiest to conquer.

We're not THAT bad. Did you see them against the Eagles? Barkley by himself outgained the entire Giant offense 187 to 119. If you add back in the sack yards lost, Barkley still outgained them.
