Here is how I see it playing out,

Friday/Saturday Barber gets a offer from Houston and we take the First and third rounder. (assuming the reports i saw on barbers tender are right)

Sat/Sunday we trade a 5th rounder to Denver For Javon Walker. Sign D. Henderson from New Orleans to a 3 year 5 million dollar deal 2 mil bonus.

Monday Turner comes in for a workout and doesn't leave.

Next week Canty gets no offers and we sign him to a 5 year deal

Hamlin signs a 6 year deal for 3.5 per, 5 mil signing bonus.

Flo walks. Jets 5 years 42 mil.

what do you guys think.

we end up with three firsts, one second and two thirds. in a deep draft

our recievers are TO. Walker. Crayton. Henderson. Hurd. maybe a draft pick.

One of these days, people will learn not to drink and type. I think Congress needs to create a law on it. IMO Drinking and typing is way worse than Drinking and driving.

It's a very plausible situation (vet/draft). Stanback could be cut, but so can Austin or Hurd (just as easily imo).

I can see Austin, but you don't cut a guy you just drafted the year before and had change positions. And you don't cut the guy you had start when your WR's were coming down with injury after injury. It doesn't make sense.

I agree Stanback is safe for at least another year, but I can't say the same for Hurd. He's shown ability as a 4th or 5th WR, but those guys are never safe imo.

I do see some upside in Hurd, but not enough to think that he "deserves" a spot on this roster.

Also note that he was starting when our starters went down w/ an injury b/c we didn't have a better choice. The fact that he's less "green" than Stanback or Austin doesn't necessarily make him a keeper.

Its easy to say im dumb, and i think this is a video game but it is alot harder to actually express why you think im being ridiculous.

This is not unlike New Englands offseason last year.....load up on talented WR's.

So tell me what is so ridiculous. Are we or are we not trying to win the superbowl?
