jEESH and all this time I thought the symbol was code for "put a paper bag on your head".

Funny story about when the Saints were really terrible. A Saints fan drove to the stadium and left his two tickets between is windshield and wipers hoping someone would take them. When he returned, he had four more tickets on his windshield.

it wont end. Like the poster above said everything is offensive to someone
I'm offended by the Eagles symbol. How could such a horrible team represent such an iconic bird.

if they win in Washington the lawyers get in their cars and drive to Cleveland to finish the problem with the "Indian" name. From there off to KC to finish the attack on "Cheifs" name. Then off to New Orleans. Maybe the NFL can go to colors- well except for black cause well some African Americans may object, and red because you know-back to the Commander problem, yellows out, rainbows out. Maybe all the teams can use a different shade of white, no may come across as white power.

the judges should start throwing these cases out as frivolous or the lawyers like leaches will keep sucking on the NFL money

The problem with this, is #1, this symbol has historically stood for many things that have nothing to do with slavery or oppression (I guess I should say oppression based of race, since most monarchs oppressed everyone beneath them) and #2, I would actually say this tidbit of information was pretty obscure. Unless you were a historian, you likely did not know this, so I don't think any momentum will ever be gathered to change the Saints' logo.

Swastikas existed long before **** Germany ever used them, but what they did had such an effect on the world, that it would be ridiculous for a team to adopt a swastika as a symbol, if even for other meaning. But again, this slave code from 1724 is such an obscure piece of information, I don't think anyone but a handful of people would even connect the two.

What would you say it represents as the Saints use it? I was never really sure.
