When's the last time 3 out of 4 teams from the same division makes the divisional round? Mike Florio just said 2002, but that's not true. Only 2 out of 4 made it.

Does anyone know this? If this goes all the way back to before the internet, then the NFC East is truly a historically strong division.

And the Commanders just kicked our ***** and beat Philly.

Yes, and if you recall, we were supposed to be one of the worst, if not the worst division in football

Let's recall three decades ago, when the NFC East won four straight NFL titles.
1990 - Giants
1991 - R******s
1992 - Cowboys
1993 - Cowboys

All against Buffalo.
'fivetwos' --you are on point with that nugget.
And it quite possibly happen again with THREE NFC EAST TEAMS still in contention to wind up in playing in Super Bowl LVII.

Bills are having some rough flashbacks this year.only the niners stand in their way to another NFC east SB loss.
A lot CZers don't like Jalen Hurts; but if you think about it...aren't he and Dak Prescott cut from the same mold as as college QB?
Add in Daniel Jones.
The sports media is enamored of the the AFC QB "young guns" -- Mahomes, Jackson. Allen, Burrow, Herbert.
But we could be seeing a guy in that same position in the opposite conference help guide his team the NFL Title.

Herbert and Jackson sitting at home.......Allen should be based on how poor he played....Mahomes in the wing.....Burrow....not coming off his best performance. AFC Quarterbacks got the hype. NFC quarterbacks playing the best football.

I was going to mention something similar to this. For 10 years straight, from 1986 through 1995, it was either an NFC East team or the 49ers to win the SB.
