Lol. By week 8 Washington will be what they truly are. The eagles are much weaker than last year also. Dallas will be in charge of this division by week 8
We just played two door mats. You can't say that about us yet.

Can someone name even one impressive victory for the division facing external opponents?

Eagles over Vikings
Cowboys over Jets
Giants over Cards
Commanders over Cards
Commanders over Broncos
Eagles over Patriots
Nobody has beaten anybody yet.

We’ve beaten our doormats 70-10. Washington beat theirs 55-49 and trailed in the 4th quarter of both games. Context matters.
I agree, but this franchise is notorious for September and October glory and hype.

We won't know this team much until the San Fran and first Philly games.

People are about to fall for the same trap as they did last season with the Giants. Commanders don’t look nearly as good as the Eagles or Cowboys. Commanders were down 3 to 21…..allowed a Hail Mary from the 50 and Russ should’ve got the two point…..I didn’t get to catch the whole game I was watching the Cowboys. Interesting to see how Howell progresses. He is highs and lows right now. Seems to be a gunslinger and that didn’t mesh well with Rivera….

They've beaten two of worst teams in football and had to come back in both games to do it. They are still a mediocre football team.
People will fall for the bait and they may get Bette but through two weeks the Commanders look exactly the same as last year. People forget now but for awhile they were in a playoff chase.

And it still took the NFC East to contribute to the 1.

I think Washington will replace NYG as that 3rd team and finish around 9-10 wins. I could see the NYG falling off big time as the season progresses.

I agree that Philly is weaker then last year but they don't even play a good team until week 7 home vs Miami. Eagles probably jump out early and Dallas will have to reel them in. Even though their schedules are pretty much the same it seems Philly caught a break by getting SF, Buffalo and Miami all at home while Dallas plays them all on the road.

Sure, but in as much as you can prove something against the caliber of teams we have faced we have done so. There’s something to be said for consistently blowing out below average to bad teams in the NFL. Winning games by an average of 30 points against anyone is at least moderately impressive.

Sure. Teams with weak offensive lines will get curbed by this team for sure. No chance.

It'll continue the next two weeks.

Bingo. 2-0 is really all that matters right now. This early in the year some of the “impressive” wins look pretty ordinary by week 10 and some of the games we think will be auto wins end up being huge wins in retrospect later in the year.

This is the nfl, not college. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 teams every year It’s just how many, not how’d it look.

I think the NFC is going to be tougher than some think.

Besides AFC having the best QB’s they may not have all of the best teams.

NFC West could be tougher than some think. Rams look to be better. And Hawks as good as last year. Impressive win over Lions.

And how about the South. Tampa and Saints both 2-0.

We shall see but NFC is shaping up to be more than most had expected.

You can pretend the Jets defense is a doormat if you so choose. Myself along with the statistics will not. They were a top 3 pass defense last year, and they blanketed the bills last week. Meanwhile we just put up 30 points on them.
