Speaking of NFC -AFC

Vikings are 0-2

Kirk Cousins is in last year of his contract. You really think Vikes want to break bank for him? No way. This is swan so g for Cousins.

I wouldn't be shocked if they lose 2 more....if the JETS try and trade for him. Is there a team more ready to win, only needing a CIMPETENT veteran Brad Johnson type QB than the Jets?

Get a 2nd now for Cousins.....or nothing later. Vikes aren't winning the SB this year anyway....
The Jets have neither a 2nd nor 1st they can trade as they are locked up in the trade for Rodgers. Best they could offer is a 3rd

Never even heard of the Falcons QB. Don’t see them hanging in for very long.

Would Cousins be up for going to the Jets? He has a no trade clause.

Wonder what’s going through the minds of the Cleveland faithful watching Baker Mayfield put up better numbers than Deshaun Watson. All that guaranteed money along three first round picks for a QB that’s currently 4-4 over the past two seasons with pedestrian numbers.

But I was told the NFC was the weaker conference. I was told that by ESPN, so it's supposed to be true.

Commanders, Saints, Buccaneers, and Falcons aren't good teams. Just watch them play and it's obvious.

The only one that might be decent is the Falcons of that 4. I think Rider is underrated. I think their defence is pretty good. I think Robinson is excellent so far.

Possibly the 3 best teams in NFL without the 3 best QB’s.

And if Lions over Chiefs is an indication the NFC could be even stronger and deeper.

7 undefeated teams in 1 conference after week 2 might be a record?

I think the Lions are going to develop into a really good team this year. Disappointing loss for them against Seattle, but I really like what the Lions are building. I think they're going to be a very good playoff team. I think they'll win a playoff game this year if they make it.

Negative. The Jets still have their first round pick. Since the Rodgers injury, they lose two 2nd round picks in the trade.

I can tell you, as someone who lives in Cleveland, the mood tanked around town after last night. I think everyone here is realising that Watson was a massive mistake.

I find it very interesting that we're back to having the Cowboys and 49ers being the top teams in the NFC. However, unlike those 90s years, there is a third dangerous team. With that offensive line and weapons, the Eagles can beat anyone. It's a long season.

The move never made any sense. Watson had been out of football for a year, and the last time he played a full season he was 4-12. He’s never going to live up to what they paid him and traded for him. No team in the league has had worse luck at QB than the Browns.

I don't think that 1st round pick is available to them until the end of the season. It sort of remains in escrow, so they can't utilize it as a bargaining chip until the end of the season.

I agree. They gave up way too much for him and I didn't understood it at the time it happened.

I see what you're saying. I didn't think of that because we all know Rodgers isn't taking 65% of the snaps. But still, it's probably not available until the end of the season.
