The NFC East is one of the two divisions with two teams still alive in the playoffs. The AFC west West is the other.

So many of these analysts were proud of their ability to rhyme. Now they can use their clever phrases to back out of their previous statements with style.

They had better hurry, because if they wait too long they will be forced to defend their statement against the reality of the Cowboys hosting the NFC Championship two weeks from now.

The East, (not division) rules in Superbowl Championships period. Oh, almost forgot. World Series Championships as well.

Still mind boggling why Dallas is in the Eastern division. I recall the Cardinals being there as well but that was resolved.

Yep. I've been thinking about that since Filthy won... Stupid wannabes. There will be plenty of slithering going on. Especially if we end up playing Filthy at home for the NFC Championship..

I love being in the NFC East, it is great perparation for the playoffs.

The division is a bloodbath, teams must develop a toughness to survive and a tenacity to overcome adversity. This develops the type of mindset that succeeds during championship runs.

A 10-6 record in the NFC East translates to 12-4 in most other divisions because of the level of competition due to the animosity, history, and utter dislike for each other. The team's in this division has always taken it to a different level

Record rarely matters. In this division a defending Super Bowl Champions can lose to a 2-14 team. The next best thing to winning a Super Bowl is to destroy a division rival's opportunity to win a Super Bowl.

Calling this division the "NFL Least" only confirms that the so-called analyst is someone that does not understand the mentality of those teams which is why they are always shocked when a team from that division dominates in the playoffs.

A 9-7 sixth seed beat an undefeated AFC champion. Remember the mighty Bills streak of 4 straight SB appearences?
They lost every one of those to an NFC East team.

Again, there are 8 divisions in the NFL and the league has had 52 Super Bowls for an average of 6.5 per division. The NFC East has twice that average, there has been 13 SB championships among them. every team has won at least one

Guaranteed 6 wins.

I always got a laugh when someone (fan/media) called it the "NFC least". I'd like to see them strap on the helmet and see just how easy it is to compete in the division. Truth be told, the NFC east is ultra competitive within the division and the winner is always "battle tested" unlike the AFC east pansy division that the Pattsies play in. 6 of their games every year over the past 10 can nearly be pencilled in as sure wins to start the season. I wouldn't mind the Cowboys starting a season at 6-0 but that doesn't happen with the hatred within the NFC east division. All 4 team feed on destroying the other.
