It's been so long since the NFC has proved it can hang with AFC teams in the Super Bowl. And the NFC is barely represented this year becasue the NFC team going is Seattle - a team that was in the AFC barely a few years ago. I still can't think of Seattle as an NFC team, so for me, this Super Bowl is really being played by two AFC clubs.:

Well, fortunately for you, the Seahawks were an NFC team in 1976, I believe, at which point we loaned them to the AFC. They are now back in their rightful conference.

So long since the NFC can hang? Are you kidding? The Ravens pummeled the Giants in 2000, but since then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ROUTED the Oakland Raiders and P-Men won by the margin of a field goal or less three times!

The NFC owns the last blowout, my friend.

Ravens are AFC, they beat Giants who are in our division. The last 2 super bowls were won by AFC teams...

For those who are memory challenged, have selective memory or are just too young to remeber and think nothing happened before they were born...please see the results of the Super Bowls from Super Bpwl XIX to Super Bowl XXXI...

That's 13 straight years the NFC put a whooping on the ACF...
