You can twist all these survey "stats" you want and say what you want for the purpose of clicks. The ratings are still the highest of any league here.

'Least liked' is a very ambiguous and mis-leading phrase. Still gets the highest ratings by far. Which contradicts it is the least liked. Pointless minutia geared to generate clicks.

And....

Lol well the rest of the world seems to disagree but either way that's your opinion. I like a sport that's nonstop action for two 45 minute halves instead of 2 hours of commercials and 1 1/2 hours of actual gameplay.

I don't believe it bit I still refuse to watch any other games but the Cowboys and I'm loving the time I have without the games. I never thought I'd be happy on a,Sunday not watching football. But now that I forced myself to do it I love Sundays even morw.
Naaa, I still have watch other games in addition to the Cowboys games....I reserve Sundays strictly for football and will until there is no more NFL I guess.

Soccer is the international sport and with the dangers of football being exposed there won't be many parents letting their kids play. In the next 15-20 years soccer will be competing for the most popular sport in this country.

While maybe true, I heard those exact same words 20 years ago

I haven't watched a non Cowboy game in about 3 weeks but to be fair I was cutting back even heading into this season. Some of these games are just about unwatchable anymore.

Well that was wishful thinking back then in an attempt to hype MLS. Now, it's actually taking effect with all the soccer academies that have opened in the past 10 years. We're actually starting to produce more talent and more young people are watching soccer than ever (mainly European soccer)

I understand this is a football forum so most people will make the typical soccer jokes but more kids are playing soccer in this country than ever, and at a high level with formal training.

When the weather turns cold and the days get short, the fans will return. They dislike some of the issues out there now and how the NFL responded, but this will pass, IMO.

A reminder "least liked" doesn't necessarily correlate to "least watched".
There's an odd media phenomenon that exists which basically goes like this: You can not like someone or something but you watch it anyway. Examples being the Cowboys, Howard Cosell, Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless, etc.
If at any particular time, you ask a group of people who they hate or they've hated the most, and they will say anyone of these people or team. But people STILL watch them. Shrug.

I beg to differ on those that say people are still watching even when they say they won't. Talking with abunch of co-workers as well as others, many would say they haven't watched the games and more and more blah about football than they used to be.

As far as fantasy football goes, that loses its luster too. Used to play for years, now I don't see the appeal , kinda boring.

I can see the NFL losing ts appeal to many. College football on the other hand is actually more enjoyable to watch. Crowds genuinely get into the game ALOT and these players wanna play.

For the record, concussions in soccer are as big of a problem as it is in football.
There are studies that show this.

I am convert for the USMNT and the USWNT............ "I Believe"

Maybe it is just patriotism but I watch all the World Cup games, the Qualifiers and the Gold Cup

The Women's team is awesome but the Men are making strides........ they have some really good young talent..... learn the name Christian Pulisic

No commercials or replays....... some bad calls and offsides but the game is not bad

I love football I just hate the way it's covered by sports media. I am literally at the point where I watch zero pre-game programming and zero post-game programming.

The coverage has become pathetic.

I think you're onto something. I suspect lots of people hate the atmosphere around football - Goodell, the National Anthem, ESPN and its "liberal" agenda - but they still like the game. They just don't tune into the atmosphere around the game and prefer the game itself.

It's popping up on several news sights.
It also states that the "core" fans is down a whopping 31%........and the owners want to extend Goodell??

Forget about these "minor" details Roger, stick with what's really important to you like sticking it to Zeke Elliott on a made up charge.
Least liked and most liked, I guess.
They dwarf all other sports in US viewership, obviously.

Stop visiting fringe sites...

That was debunked on snopes, and the ratings were up. There is zero evidence to support or back those claims up.
