It’s time for all fans to realize the league isn’t just about playing football. These are athletic entertainers who perform in national network tv. Much like actors and artist on other network programming.
It amazes me how some fans are in denial that these are just football players who should be grateful for the opportunity to make millions playing their sport .
The NFL is a sports entertainment entity at the highest level . That doesn’t even rely as much on its TV viewers to generate revenue as stadium , parking, concessions, sponsorships and merchandise continue driving increased revenue.
The Cowboys owner has spearheaded in revolutionary implementation this transition to entertainment sports which financial success no longer relies with success on the field and why it’s not about football anymore. It’s a show.
