What matters is cap hit. If your cap hit is close to or under 10%, it doesn't matter whether or not your QB is on a rookie contract. Dak has been that for every year of his contract except the tag year. This year he's 11.7, but that's what matters. Last year he was an 8.9% cap hit. That should give them some room to acquire some talent if the opportunity arises without ruining your cap.Tampa Bay and the Rams are now in cap hell for their moves. They stole from the future to feed a run and now they suffer. Philly was able to be so aggressive because Hurts is on a rookie contract, not a luxury we have.
