You never look at the schedule and count wins or losses. The cards win in Philly reinforces the NFLs greatest lesson taught every year: You never know what’s going to happen.

As we look at Wash next week with the division there for the taking, here’s hoping the Cowboys will be at their best. Because the NFL constantly reminds us that we can’t count wins ahead of time.

What happened to that cupcake December schedule they had in our crazy schedule we had when they said the Eagles control their own destiny...hmm?

I've never wanted to do that.... I believe this has always been a week to week league, nothing carries over from the week before, the predictions are getting harder and harder and any given Sunday is now five days a week..

whenever they're playing these games especially around the holidays and I never overreact to a win or a loss... This is crazy how it's working out but I don't know all the scenarios but I guess we gotta beat Washington for what?

Spot on, my friend.

This is why all the year-long banter on here about the season being over when Philly was 2 games up was nonsense. This league is built on a foundation similar to how the tall buildings in Vegas are built -- on unpredictability. No team is ever as good as it looks and no team is ever as bad as it looks.

Onto Week 18!

You can probably merge my thread into yours! You're 100% spot on never count someone out when the math reasonably says it can happen.

So e can’t come next week either. Cold and maybe snow, might be a challenge. We really need to bring the intensity

I keep trying to think the Rams are the team to beat. Then that happens.
Yeah they did win but it wasn't impressive I mean technically tie rod was their third string quarterback at one time but nobody's unbeatable right now and again one week looks like somebody is the team to beat the next week they're not I mean have you not learned that lesson this is a week to week league and absolutely nothing carries over from one week to another and that includes momentum going into the playoffs you literally play one game at a time the only momentum that holds true is what's in that game you're playing how it starts when you build up throughout the game but that doesn't matter once the clock goes zero next week so a whole nother game...
