... is your Dallas Cowboys. And that was before Jason Ferguson's spot on the roster was taken by Remi Ayodele.

According to the NFL, on opening day, our average age was 26.08, and our average experience was 3.92 seasons. Only Green Bay and Indianapolis are younger. The league's oldest team? The Commanders -- by far -- at 27.96 and 5.89. They also have the most players 30 or older, with 17 (we have seven).

We're also the NFL's tallest team (6.24 feet, on average) and the third-heaviest (252.79 pounds).

But the important thing is...

Which team is the best looking?

I'd say the Cowboys but I think Pat McQuistan automatically disqualifies us from winning that honor.

Interesting...I was thinking about looking into those stats the other day. The Colts are the youngest? You would never know by how talented they are. My boy Bob is lights out for that defense. I used to argue with my friends that Roy was better but that clearly is not the case. Not sure what that has to do with this thread but it came to mind as I was typing.

Can teams impeach thier owners?

Because the slow, steady decline of the Commanders organization brings me such devilish joy.

I'd take Bob Sanders over Ed Reed, or any other safety

the Colt's D is a whole, different dynamic when Bob is healthy and in the lineup

btw, for curiosity's sake, how old is the average age of Indy and GB's roster?

They got cap-strapped, lost a lot of veterans in free agency and now have the most first-year players in the league -- 16.

And they aren't too far from us in cap standing too.

good post adam.

Myself and doctor 32 were talking about this on the way to the stadium sunday.

With the release of glenn, the loss of rivera and then ferguson this team is young all over.

The most important thing to me is I think we have a close knit tight group that really go out and play for each other.

When I first read this, I thought you meant Terry Glenn. I was like, what? they released him? Then I realized you mean Aaron Glenn. Silly me.:p:

But the skins have Campbell. I mean sure the kid sucks, but boy, what incredible poise in the pocket he has.
