The nightmare season is over, but now the nightmare off season begins. Then we will have to hear about it all through the next season as well.
But I guess it is better than hearing about Brady just as well too.

I changed the channel over immediately and will not have ESPN pr NFLN on any NFL related crap until the combine and FA starts.

How will jerry react now, will this get in his craw and light a fire under his *** to actually improve by getting some top FA's.

To me it is simple, it is SB or bust for Garrett. None of this 12-34 make the playoffs. At least make it to the NFCCG and if he loses, it best be because we simply got beat, not from a coaching fmess up. But really should be SB or out. But then again, that won't happen to most coaches.

Man this is going to be an extremely long off season. Then we get to host the draft while the NFL and media dribble over the Eagles. :banghead:...

Heck I am dribbling over them and the way they rebuilt everything.

god awful season no doubt
Their really jamming a lot in this off season.
All the new coaching hires. I like Anderson the little I read about him.
The WR coach Lal ? Players like him. That can go either way.
The Kris Richards hire is the most exciting.

I like the off season because of the draft.
Ten picks we should add some help.
After the draft we hit the doldrums then it sucks

good ridance to this crap season.
let the memory burn to the point of fuel.
2018...IGNITE.

I hope so, but, unfortunately, it appears our FO may not care. Did watching the Patriots unravel our legacy do anything to change Jerry? I hope to God that this changes Jerry. I hope he'll finally stop with the freaking reclamation projects that he tries to do. His coach is NOT Peterson. His coach is NOT Belichick. His coach is Jason freaking Garrett. A guy that has YET to develop ONE player on this team. Yet, Jerry keeps at it with these stupid reclamation projects. He needs to STOP with drafting critically injured players and problem players, and start drafting immediate impact players. He needs to also start using the FA market to supplement our draft.

can not disagree.

Next year won't be any better. We get the Eagles twice, the Seahawks, the Lions, the NFC South and AFC south with Andrew Luck coming back. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention Jason Garrett will still be the head coach.

For me it's NFCC game or bust. I don't care how they do it - Wild Card and win 2 road games, win the Division, or a 1st round bye. But there is NO WAY Garrett is gone if he makes the NFCC game, but not the Super Bowl.

As stated, Jerry should make the seat as hot as an electrical fire under Garrett and his staff. Either win the Super Bowl, or dump the ENTIRE coaching staff. Except maybe Marinelli, none of our coaches have the capability of coaching through adversity like the Eagles did. That's why we were at home this season, and the Eagles are partying in Philly today.

This coaching staff should have been gone years ago, Tony Romo's best years were wasted under Jason Garrett. The notion that he will win a super bowl with Dak who's far less talented than Romo is nothing but DuckTales.

I know. I've been wanting Garrett gone since 2013. I wanted him fired immediately after the Packers game this year. I think we ALL knew how vital that game was to our season, yet he called the game EXACTLY as he did in 2013. We HAD the lead. We were KILLING them with the run again just like 2013. All of a sudden, he starts calling PASSES like in 2013. He hasn't learned a freaking thing in his entire tenure. He acts like he does, but laughs at how foolish those of us are that still think he can coach.

Assuming Parcells was on board with it, I could have understood a few reclamation projects when we had Parcells. But you HAVE to have a Parcells-type coach if you're going to gamble on players like Jerry does. You HAVE to have a coach that players truly fear and respect. Yet, Jerry's ego will not allow another coach like that for the foreseeable future while he still thinks he can change players. He can't. He's an owner. He can't connect on that level. Bring in a real coach, and let him do his job. You'll be rewarded for it like Lurie was last night, Jerry. Oh, and you'll see money like never before.

I certainly think so. Hearing about Brady makes me want to puke. I'm sick of the media's love fest of him. It'll be nice hearing about someone else for a change.

Even if that means an entire off season of watching the worst fan base in sports celebrate a Super Bowl win? I don't know, man. That seems like too high a price to pay.

I'm with you, I don't see next season being any better than this year. Defenses will stack the line to stuff Zeke daring Dak to beat them through the air...Can he do it? If not, then it will be a long unproductive season. If you don't have a QB that can back them off then it is going to be bad at which point Jerry has to put all his chips in to get a franchise QB in house ASAP.
