and in the Regular season would have had 27, because that stupid roll out wouldnt have been thrown. We marched right down the field.

At one point I think that Schaub was 4-11 or something like that.

Houston was in the game cause of 3 big dumb mistakes. W/o those mistakes, it would have been a blowout. That should show they so bad even with our 3 gifts they weren't impressive.

Mistakes have bittin' this team in the butt numerous times in the past. They have to limit them. Having said that, they looked a lot better last night.

I just don't see what the cause for concern about the defense is. We are running a vanilla D with very little blitzing, starting a rusty Pac, and no Newman. Despite all of that Schaub still began something bad for eleven. Calm down people.

At one point Barber had 5 times more yards than the Texans.

Hell of a night imo.

Schaub was 4/11 or something at one point, but on most of the plays the receiver was wide open...he just threw poorly...

not going to complain much about the offense (as I said in my post game) because we had 20 pts and nearly 270 yds...it could have easily been 31pts and 300+ yds too

only concern I have is Romo's continued problems completing the deep ones...not much excuse to miss that easy TD to Owens last night

Yep! The Cowboys 1-15 all over again because of those preseason games that don't count.:bang2:

That ball really could have been caught. Looked to me like he kind of gator-armed it for some reason. regular season I'd be willing to bet that TO will make that play for him.

The overthrow to Owens would have resulted in a TD there & if Romo just runs out of bounds ( since no one was REALLY open ) instead of throwing that HORRIBLE pass in the endzone on the run that was picked off, ( could have resulted in a TD a play later ) helped prevent the easy blowout. A couple of fumbles didn't help either. Good news was that there wasn't as many Penalties this week. Still a good first half for us. We went down field on them on every drive in that first half so that's a pretty good showing for our starters.

Its amazing how nitpicky people are. I am not worried. He will make the throw. His arm looks stronger to me this year than it ever has. I dont know if it is due to mechanics or what but I saw him throw a 60 yard pass to owens in practice wed night and hit owens in stride and last night he threw the ball a mile agan and missed.

What is funny is he had patrick crayton running right down the middle of the field wide open for a touchdown on that play also. The texans secondary is pretty much horrendous. The texans defense is similar to clevelands. Good players up front and nothing on the back end. If the weather is good on september 7 I would expect the same kind of results.

They look dominant other than silly mistakes that will get corrected and vanilla schemes. There is nothing to worry about.

Lol, true.

Where were physically dominating on both sides of the ball. I have a great deal of confidence that we will be a very good football team barring any significant injuries.

Eh, we're kind of all over the place with our critiques. On the one hand we say "It's only the preseason, so don't worry about the defense." On the other hand we say, "Wow! Did you see that offense last night?!?! CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!!" The only thing people seem to agree on in large part is that the special teams aren't looking too good.

I thought our basic execution was good. Once again, we have a fumble in the red-zone, several dropped INTs, INT on the goal line (run it there Garrett), so I think we will clean that stuff up for the most part, all teams make mistake, just limit them.

Yeah, if they executed like I know they will come the regular season, the Cowboys would have blown them out. Something to the tune of 30 something to 10 something.
