The offensive ineptitude. playoffs!

yes, rejoicing in the win and the division. but I don't much care about the division titles, as much as we must have success in the playoffs.

at this pace with the way the offense played yesterday, we will be a one and done team. scoring 13 points on offense and zero the week before and despite the Philly wild finish, 6 in 3.5 quarters and 13 against saints.... this offense is struggling. coach. scheme, QB, execution and a bit of all.....it doesn't matter. if this offense doesn't get it in gear this week, I don't hold much hope in the playoffs. outside of some nice zeke runs we looked inept offensively yesterday.

I agree the offense is pretty mediocre, but I am more concerned about the defense after the last two games. During the 5 game win streak the secondary was playing tight coverage on receivers and its how they beat the Saints. Yesterday, there were Bucs receivers who were so open it was ridiculous and the Bucs exposed Byron Jones at times. I want to see them go back to the way they played against the Saints. Yesterday Anthony Brown was inactive due to back spasms. Maybe that was the difference, or part of it.

The reason the offensive stats were so poor was because the defense let the Bucs stay on the field so long - and the two Bucs turnovers that led to TDs.

This last game I want to be all Dak. I'd have him throw it 40+ times to help get him as many reps as possible before the playoffs. It would also afford Zeke a bit of a break.

The D wore down yesterday because the O couldn’t convert 3rd downs and sustain drives
During our win streak we converted 3rd downs at or near 50% against good teams and that’s why the defense was fresh and could be aggressive
The only way to overcome our complete failure in the redzone is playing keep away
If we are gonna win in the playoffs we have to convert 3rd downs on offense

I’ve come to the conclusion that fans say we’re gonna suck or be “one and done” in the playoffs are simply playing the odds to appear smart in their own eyes.

31 out of 32 teams end their season with a loss.

So to simply say something generic isn’t actually that prophetic at all. They’re just playing the long game, so if we lose (again, statistically probable), then they can come back and say, “see I told you!”

Now, if you want to nut up and say, Maher’s gonna shank the game-winning FG, or Dak will only throw for 120 yards in a blowout loss or Heath will get burned for a game-winning TD or Daks gonna hit Cooper for a 70-yard game-winning TD in the Super Bowl, then you might have something.
