The Offensive Line 2020-2024: we did invest, we just had little success with the investment. Why??

There was people on here prior to the draft pounding the table to move up for Evan Neal. Those same people were screaming spittle that Tyler Smith would be a bust and that the Giants do a better job drafting Oline after the 1st round!
If I remember correctly that guy on the left side of the Giants line had a disaster of a rookie season. He’s developed quite nicely since without a lot of help!

I don't recall the Evan Neal talk. But I do recall the talk about Tyler Smith committing a lot of penalties in college. I remember looking at video and seeing how he got his hands outside way too much which resulted in those penalties. He has improved that quite a bit in the pros.

I remember it clearly from having the argument with them about the perils of massive over sized OTs and their propensity to fail this level!
